What does getting high feel like?

First, I want to apologize on behalf of Event Committee if you were sent any flowers that were a prank or otherwise dishonest. In the future, we will take precautions to avoid this.

In better news, the flower delivery service was an unprecedented success. Event Committee will have the funds to make the masquerade truly special. Since the whole school contributed, I thought it was only fair to ask for suggestions. Please keep in mind that we still have limits to what we can create, and it must be within school rules. We will see if we can incorporate some of your ideas.

PARTY RULES: AN UPDATE

• Tomorrow night (2/3/14) the party will begin at 7:00 PM, and will last until 12:00 AM.
  
  
  
  • Walk to the Grotto in pairs or groups. Do not walk to the Grotto or leave the Grotto alone after dark. Stay on the trails at all times.
  
  
  • The 12:00 AM curfew is strict. Anyone found at the Grotto at 12:30 AM will be written up by a second wave of prefects.
  
  
  • If you do not have someone to walk with, find a prefect.
  
  
  • There will be prefects present to help you home if it is needed.


• Two prefects from each House have volunteered to be chaperones. This means they will be abstaining from getting drunk, and will be on duty keeping an eye on the party. It is a good thing that I am not Head Boy, because if I were, and if I ever found out who said some of the things written on the anonymous post, I would have you in detention until I graduate. Vector would need to take my badge from me to stop the endless parade of punishment.

I was supposed to keep this a secret until Ricardo could tell two of you in particular... but I do not care. Ravi, Levi, you are going to be invited to the wedding by Ric. Ty, Wes, I am inviting you as my two guests. Sun-mi, you are being invited as a family friend. Reece... you are coming for obvious reasons, and the following rules don't necessarily apply to you.

• You may each invite a date. Except you, Cecil. You are the date. I am making assumptions by including you without asking anyone, and none of you will stop me.
• It will take place over spring break (March 11th through the 19th) but the wedding ceremony/reception/event will take place the 16th though the 18th. You only need to show up for those dates.
• You may come earlier or stay that final night if you like, but it will just be me, doing what I normally do. Except this time, it will be in Mexico and it won't work when I try to remove points. [...] I might take you sightseeing. But I can't take you clubbing or partying. I would get in trouble.
• Travel, food, and accommodations will be provided. There will be an open bar, and no one is going to ID you.
• Suits or dresses will be provided as well, if you are afraid you don't have something to wear.
• There will be paparazzi. I am not famous, but my family is. They will still take photos.
• Everyone will be speaking primarily Spanish, but many of them know English as well.
