K so I love Gooseberry Thanksgiving VERY MUCH. But there is something lost in the fact that I can't go to a store at midnight and get into a fight with a soccer mom for a like, a microwave.

Addy and I made some macarons*. They're in the senior boys' cabin, along with some hot chocolate and some coffee, so come help yourselves if you'd like to. Following the back-to-school party, which involved an unreasonable amount of kissing, an unfortunate cold epidemic has swept through the school. By that evening, the staff have been forced to acknowledge it. Their reactions range from disappointment to barely stifled amusement.

The Heads of House tell their students to go stop by the hospital wing if they're unwell, where Healer Mufferaw is waiting with folded arms and a withering expression. "You all got yourselves into this mess," he's heard saying, "but none of you are getting out of class over a case of the sniffles if I have anything to say about it."

A significantly less irritated Mr. Elmasry is hanging out in the background, trying not to laugh as he's brewing new Pepper-Up Potions. They're going to need a lot.
