I have to admit, I thought this weekend was going to be way worse than it's turning out to be. Watching everyone with their parents is a little like watching documentaries on Animal Planet. And as a bonus, I have nobody for everyone to drool over, dad or mom or sibling. So I just get to watch and enjoy.

But just FYI: whatever mom tells you about me is a lie. Unless it's how amazing I am, of course. Or how she loves me more than Chris.

I have literally never been happier that I tend to avoid physical contact on a day to day basis.

That was not nearly as bad as I expected it to be.
