Is it weird to be enjoying this SO MUCH when I've got to Day 3 but still haven't even got my first target?

I wonder how far people have made it before without actually getting anyone?!

I feel like I definitely hit a lacklustre slump in February.

I don't know if I feel like going to the dance. I can't decide. Is anyone else staying behind?

Well, the sophomore hide and seek thing was pretty fun, but what to do with a prize that's meant to be eaten but is too pretty to eat?

If you could pick any language to learn, what would it be and why? Would the answer be different if you could learn instantaneously without classes?

It felt real good to be loud and Italian again, even if only for a short time. My nonna is completely without shame and interrogated every member of staff she met about the rigorousness of classes, which would have been mortifying were it not for a certain Professor twisting the conversation on its head and getting her to teach him the proper way to yell at people in Italian. I'll leave that one to the imagination.

I'm going to miss my family now they've gone, but it was great while it lasted!

That was seriously the ABSOLUTE BEST. I had so much fun last night! I hope everyone else did too!

At my last school, things totally wound down before the holidays and the last couple of weeks, there was barely any point being there.

Here, though? Yeah, definitely different.

My brother decided to time his last letter for Thanksgiving morning with the express purpose of ripping into me for wanting to do a Shakespeare play. Brat.

I definitely enjoyed the Gooseberry Thanksgiving experience. The dancing was fun!

I've literally never skated in my life, so I don't think hockey is a great idea. It looks awesome, though. People can go watch, right?

One thing I do miss about home is family all throwing in their lot together for things like Halloween, hanging out, yelling at each other in Italian... the closest thing is hearing Mrs Acuna when she's speaking Spanish at tutoring and that's nothing like the same. At least it's a lovely sounding language, though.

I've been in Choir over a year and I still haven't decided where the best place to practice is, outside of rehearsal. That's kind of tough to figure out how to do without disturbing others... might have to change my routine a little instead.

Also, the party at Ribbonfin was super cute. You don't often get to parties like that in New York.
