Who: Lorcan D'Eath and whomever is listening When: Friday Night, 10pm ish. Where: The Wireless. What: Killing time and over thinking, and OMG finally playing songs he forgot to play...Oops.
...
And that was The Blower's Daughter by Damien Rice, as requested and woefully late. And Brick by Boring Brick, by Rose Zeller her new song recorded at your local wireless. Jealous? You should be.
Lorcan D'Eath here, fulfilling my promises, albeit a bit late. Sorry about that, lovelies. My plate has been a bit full as of late and I can't seem to get it cleared. Then again, the same can be said of most everyone here from time to time. Give me a moment and I'll take a jaunt back down melancholy hill and stand back on more level footing.
I asked and got some feedback, but themes are hard to come by or in short supply. So I guess I took them and mixed them together. Or maybe the theme is my mood. Maybe there is no real theme, just human nature, or the experience. Could be? More likely just an over indulgence on my part. I rarely do this, so bare with me. I'll listen and you can listen with me. I'll start off with a classic.
Back again, I still have a few tracks I'd like to hear tonight. I'm not sure whose out there this evening, but if my tastes are not to your liking, my apologies. Drop me a line some time and give me an idea of what you'd like to hear. Otherwise I'm left with idle hands and too much time. Feel free to stop me at any time.
It occurs to me at times like these that it's plain to see what decades I got to live through. Although on occasion I find a song I've not heard before and toss it in the mix. Both songs walking and I guess that's a subtle cue to myself to do just that. That's it for me, I've places to be.
Remember the wireless is here for you all to enjoy. I'm here for whatever everyone else needs. That's what I do. Keep it in mind and oi! You want a radio show, speak to myself or as I hear it, George Weasley's nomination for Prettiest Man in the Village, Mr Lee Jordan.
