Warded to Dora and Lucy

Hey,

Dean's posting about fireworks brought to mind the New Year's fireworks on the Thames. Not everybody is freaked out by big bangs and bright lights, and riverside tickets are selling for a pretty penny. I think we should have a New Year's Eve bash.

My end of the building has that roof garden and hot tub that goes with the penthouse suite. I'll just make sure the place isn't rented over the holidays. That way the kitchen and bathrooms will be available. Dora's end's roof has the big open space, the bar and gas grill, and the other hot tub.

Lucy, I've included you on this because there's no doubt I'll need your help in keeping all the details straight, so feel free to invite however many you'd like. Dora, you too.

So this week at Duelling Club we were working on planning ahead, which is coincidentally what I've been doing behind the scenes as well.

As I'm getting married on November 14th, that means next month I'm either going to be very busy or on my honeymoon. But obviously I don't want to just cancel Duelling Club outright for several weeks, so I've managed to cajole a few lovely coworkers/duellists into taking guest sessions. Should make life a bit interesting and I'm even a bit jealous of a couple of the things they have planned.

(But only a little bit because I have my own very exciting plans.)

Is anyone doing anything for Halloween?
