The garden is working nicely. Everything looks so good and I have nice herbs. Thank you to everyone who helped me out.

I think the next thing I want to do to distract me is to learn how to fly better. I'm not very good. Would anyone want to help me?

A little girl and her mother came into the shop today. While I was packing up their order, the little girl noticed two tubs labelled 'Sorbet' and wanted to know what that was. Our little talk of different sorts of frozen treats lead to her talking about all the ice lollies she was going to eat when summer came, and we could easily agree that the orange ice lollies by far are the best.

Afterwards I got to wondering; I know I have tastes that I associate with summer, like strawberry and elderflower, but what about you?

A huge congratulations to Montrose on their win and a huge thank you to every team for an incredible season; it was an honor to play against such talented professionals and I look forward to the next season. Also, I want to thank the fans... without you all, well, I would still love the game, but the energy from the fans is what really seals the deal.

Now that the season has ended I have more time for training! Since moving to this part of London I haven't had as much time as I'd like to get out and explore, run in the park, see all the sights on my bike, and I hear there is a nice pool suitable for athletic swimming. Plus, Lucy has me addicted to rock-climbing. I'm also planning on drawing up some new plays with the captain we can hopefully use for next season.

Well fought, my valiant Tornados! Sorry there wasn't a WIN today, but you made it to the Championship and I'll be cheering for you loud and proud next season!

The season is officially over! Many many congrats to the Magpies - KRUM! THAT CATCH WAS AMAZING! - well fought win. You Tornados played well, too, though I still think it should've been my Harpies in the final, with my bias and all. First things first, I'm taking a week off. And then this summer there will be flying and cooking lessons and try outs and training. Here we go.

[Warded to Luna & Hermione] -- Hermione mentioned a girls' night, and I think we could all use one. When and where? I'm a free woman these days! Also - Pucey (the potions guy?) put up a flat for rent in Monument - what do you girls think? I didn't know him in school but he was on the Slytherin team and I'm pretty sure he was one of That Woman's thugs. I know we're supposed to put the past aside and all that, but, well, to live under the same roof....

[Warded to Adrian Pucey] -- Pucey, I was wondering if your flat is still up for rent? And if you have more information other than the fact that it smells funny?

Good game, Tutshill! Good games, everybody, in fact!

Montrose, I am so very proud of your playing! You have done fabulously, as I expected you would.

Everyone have fun with your celebrations (or consolations, depending on your teams). Be safe and have fun.

Go Magpies!

Go Magpies! Congratulations on the win! My long time favorites, you know, ever since I was wee.

(Wee-er than I am now, thank you very much, smart arses, I can hear you through the journal.)

Work continues apace, but please feel free to pull me out of the humdrum to do fun things.

[warded heavily to Slytherins, family, and close friends, excluding Chris and a few others for reasons]

So, a while back I was treated to a long marathon of movie watching on a Muggle television. It was interesting, and I did enjoy it.

But I still cannot seem to understand why Muggles spend so much time watching that box. Yes, it is entertaining -- but so is reading, and researching, and all manner of other productive pursuits. I see indulging at times, like my marathon, but...

I mean, am I the only one who doesn't understand? In most of what I have seen of the Muggle world, the device seems to rule lives, and I do not understand it.
