I suppose I'm supporting the Magpies tomorrow, but my heart just isn't in it. Anyone else feeling like this season went out with a fizzle?

Dear Godric, this weekend has already been amazing. We started last night at the poolside bar on the beach and danced the night away. This morning I treated myself to a full body massage and then full skin treatment. Nothing like a real exfoliation to make you feel brand new. After a nap, room service surprised Emma and I with a bottle of bubbly and I think tonight we'll try the restaurant here at the resort. Rumor has it the new chef is definitely up for a prestigious worldwide award next year. I don't think I ever want to go home. If Franklin wasn't waiting for me, I think I might kidnap Emma and just buy a little bungalow on the beach and, I don't know, work in a bar, or something.

[Warded to Melinda] -- you're a genius, as always. The stand mixer is gorgeous even if I know nothing about all the little doohickeys that can be attached to it. I think she really liked it. I think I might need to learn more about such things, if I'm going to be buying kitchenware for birthday gifts from now on.

[Warded to Lavender] -- I've got a booth at the Championship match tomorrow, if you're working Security and want to stop by? If not, it'll be a very long weekend without your face in it.

[Public] -- MacLaggen's Sports will have a booth at the Championship! Be sure to stop by (we'll be not far and to the right from the Main Entrance to the pitch). I feel like a kid just discovering climbing trees for the first time. In the last few weeks I've had my first taste of flying horses and my first real taste of flying brooms. I don't know which I liked better! I could probably afford both but I've only got time for lessons in one or the other, though. Can I get broom flying lessons anywhere other than Hogwarts, or should I go with the Smith family's flying horses?

Having to make this decision is several kinds of surreal!
