Not the amazing high to round off my position with Pride that I had expected and hoped for, and quite a bit earlier than expected. That said, I'm still considering whether or not to partake in the training camp to make sure that my replacement is settling in well enough.

Alas, that wasn't to be, but the trip to Rome to spend my birthday with the twins and Adrian was just what the Healer ordered. And now? Now that my days as a Healer for Pride of Portree are winding down, I'm looking forward to starting on my degree as a physiotherapist. So starting this fall, I'll be needing volunteers for practicing. And no, it's no rush, just a heads up.

Other than working with the off season training staff, I've been thinking about summer. We'll all finally be getting a holiday after the Championships, and I have no idea what to do with one. Travel? That costs so much. I was thinking about learning to cook? Mum keeps saying she loves doing all the cooking, but it's not like I'll be living with her and Dad and Ron forever right? And I can't live off Pub food (sorry, Seamus, but it's true). Last year all I really did was sit around at home like a bump on a log when I wasn't getting in some flaying laps. I don't want this year to flash by like that again.

Today was lovely. Ran a luncheon for the Wizarding Bar Association and then popped in to get my hair blown out in victory. After there was a wedding in Norfolk and I don't think I've ever seen a happier, more in love couple in my life. They were both positively glowing and now they're on their way to a honeymoon in Greece, beautiful this time of year.

It's days like this that make me truly love what I do. Wedding season in particular is a high point of the year. Next up, a traditional Jewish wedding ceremony this coming Sunday, my first. Now I'm home and curling up with a glass of white wine. Yes. Lovely.
