I have been tapped to go to Prague this weekend to assess a club that wants to be invited to the European competition we are hosting early next year. Would you care to join me?

Word has been sent to the continent that Britain will be hosting the European Gobstones Tournament next February. As a result I've been assigned the task of assess the various clubs internationally that want to be considered for invitations which will be sent out the first of the year. That said, I need a second for the Gobstones Club so that I can assure it will run smoothly when I am not able to oversee the meetings. Not that you all necessarily need me, we are still required by the by-laws to choose an official lead when the one who directs the club is not available for meetings.

I don't know what's going on with Ron. He went out on a mission the other night and I haven't been able to get him to talk to me about anything. I even pulled the chess set out and he turned away. You all do hard work that you can't discuss sometimes and I don't want him to tell me what he saw at work. Any suggestions on how to help him through this would be appreciated.

I'm going to spend the weekend with Mum and Dad. I can't bear to be around Ron when he's not talking to me and I don't know why.

I am going to see my parents for the weekend. I'm going to leave my journal at the flat. If you need me send an owl. My parents are used to it.

My friends keep telling me I have to be more social so I'm going to attempt to play a game on this thing. It's called two lies and a truth. I'm going to tell two lies and a truth. You comment below with what you think the truth is then come out to Finnigan's Saturday night to find out if you were right. If you were right I'll buy you a drink. The catch is that when you guess you also have to put your own two lies and a truth down for others to guess with the caveat that you have to buy anyone that guesses yours correctly a drink.

So, I suppose I should write something here, just to let anyone who might remember me know that I'm alive around. I've been to Finnigan's a few times now, it's been really good to see people again.

If anyone wants to arrange a specific time to catch up, let me know. I work nine til five, Monday to Friday, but I live in London so I can reach Diagon or Monument Alley relatively easily.
