It was early morning and Allen was working on his usual morning chores in the garden. Belle always had a list of thing to do in the morning, but he had no issues with it because as long as he lived there he was gonna help out. He noticed Belle seemed more relaxed with the extra help and they were able to get more done. His plans for Saturday were running through his mind, but so was Sunday. He knew Ken was hurt by the way Hazard found out about there relationship. He didn't like seeing her cry and had spent the rest of the afternoon sitting there with her by the mint tree, holding her and comforting her. He'd have to go see her before his plans on Saturday.

Allen stood up after finishing cleaning the row of tomatoes and move to the next row, some weeds had started to grow at the north ends of the rows and he wanted to get rid of them before they spread to the rest of the crop. Allen knelt down to start clearing the weeds and started to hum and old song he would always sing in high school, 'Your Guardian Angel' by Red Jump Suit Apparatus.

After her encounter that morning with Gabe, Kahea had almost forgotten about her planned meeting with Kentucky and Dark Flash. What an odd name, but hey, he was just a boy after all. A pretty rude one at that. It had been like pulling teeth to get him to agree to this meeting, but Kahea stood her ground, not taking no, or 'go back to your tree' for an answer from the sarcastic teen. She needed to see Kentucky, talk to her, make sure she was alright.( Kahea couldn't help it, it was just in her nature )

It had been a good few days since the last time Kentucky had walked a long ways properly but her sore leg could handle it, and she kept up a tough facade for Hazard's sake so he wouldn't worry about her so much as they walked. Already she had picked up a good sized walking stick to help her with her limp, and there was a messenger bag around her to help her carry things she could use to trade for the ingredients she needed for the chili. She still hadn't forgotten about it, Kentucky always kept her word when she knew she's promised something. She was following Hazard's lead since he knew where this garden was he spoke about, and that was what prompted her to get a messenger bag that carried things she could trade with and also something to help her carry the vegetables back. Though since the day was kind of chilly from the wind blowing almost constantly, she had her coat on she had gotten out from her duffel.

"How much farther, ya' think it is?" Kentucky glanced at him while she was following him, keeping herself more bundled up because of the wind, but at  least it wasn't bothering her that much.
