After everything that has happened so far in her life, she's been caught up in this place now. The kids were nice, the other people were too. It was so much better it felt like then anywhere else in the United States, and even now that's not what this place was called now. It was just all land, something to rebuild on. Sundance wasn't Kentucky at all but it still kind of reminded her of it. Sometimes she missed her old home but it was probably a ghost town by now, nothing there but old ghosts, and old memories. Her mom, dad, Sam...It was just all gone now, everything. This felt like a better place than any to settle, and that was just what she was planning to do anyway. Now she just had to find that blasted kung fu guy, Sensei. That was the only way she could remember his name, because it still reminded Kentucky of one of those kung fu or karate movies. She missed those sometimes. Already she was out of her room that she had been placed in and was wobbling some, just looking for him. Her leg felt better to walk on already, but she had a limp. Luckily her jeans covered up and hid the bandage around her leg.
The hospital was pretty huge and fortunately it gave everyone in the tribe a lot of room to even move around in, but she had been honest to Hazard when she had told him that she wanted to possibly be a cook for them. Kentucky had felt bad that day for complaining a little bit about the food, but she did say she was going to make her chili for him and she meant it. Her leg was beginning to ache some from so much walking but she was trying to ignore it. "Goddamn leg..."
Finally stopping a moment and resting against one of the wall's of the hallways she knew she was probably over doing herself trying to find him, but she really did need to talk to him. Kentucky wanted to stay. She gave a sigh of relief when she saw him leaving a room, and placing her thumb and forefinger to her lips, Kentucky let out a fairly loud whistle to get his attention. "Sensei!"
