Hatter walked with a bit of a skip in his step with Bunny at his side. They'd had quite the conversation when Shine had inadvertently woken them up that morning. The end result had been the two of them deciding they had better find alternate lodgings as soon as they could. It wasn't that they didn't want to stay with the tribe- in fact they'd probably spend a great deal of time with the Carrion- It was more that they had grown accustomed to being just the dynamic duo. Hatter, more specifically, would not thrive in such close quarters with so many other people... he would end up hurting someone. They thought it best to find some place that would serve as the housing for themselves, a casino that Hatter could run, and of course a salon for Bunny.

"Seen anything you like yet, luv?" Hatter ran his thumb over the back of Bunny's hand, ever tender and loving where she was concerned. They'd been walking for a half an hour or so, past buildings that should have been condemned a long time ago. A few had some promise but not everything they were looking for, and the ones that had what they were looking for were in serious states of disrepair. It might take them a while to find a good location.

Shine remained as she had for the last few nights, sleeping on the floor of the room she used as a nursery for the children she cared for. She felt much better having talked Hatter and Bunny into taking the tiny room she normally slept in, covered in children's drawings and the few pictures of Daniel and Jess that she had. She'd carried one of these treasured photo's into the next room with her, sleeping with it close, as always.

Shine had quickly grown used to having the two of them around, and she was glad they'd decided to stay for a while. In spite of how things had begun with her and Hatter, she felt better with other people so close, even though she knew now they were staying they would have to find somewhere that was really theirs.

Shine sighed, moving around to pack the bed away and readying the room for its real use. She would miss them when they moved, but not the camp bed.
