Alright so I have a journal that I'm using a layout on that will not for the life of it show tables inside of entries. how do I fix this? I've changed table codes a billion times, I've scoured over my css in the journal and cant find anything that would cause an war between the two. anything I might need to look for?

First time poster, long time follower. I am kind of sure there is a code for S1 journal codes to make entries change from ascending to descending order. Problem? I can't find it. I have absolutely no clue what it is. If anyone knows please please PLEASE tell me. Thank you so much.

It's been a long time since I played around with custom layouts and I truly do forget how to do this -- but is it possible for me to carry over the community layout onto the tag page/list? It's an S1 Generator layout.

So I'm on the hunt for a layout. Not looking for anything super specific, but I've scoped the tags here and while I know there are a few makers who used to do a lot of them, most of those have not posted in a while.

So can anyone just comment a layout maker other than lobelia, chestnutgallery or tessisamess? Just wanna be able to browse around and be choosy and I've used their stuff so much in the past. (Not saying I don't like them, I love them. Just want something fresh.)

Coding question:
This is the layout I'm currently tweaking (credit goes to chestnutgallery). How do I add drop shadows to my entry boxes/header? And how can I add, say, a border around these and give them a rounded corners instead of pointy corners? if that makes sense. :|

I'm trying to remember the coding, but how do I fix it so on an s1 generator layout - only so many posts display per page?

If someone, somewhere out there, would be so kind as to help a sista out, my sanity might survive another night. I've taken bits of code from various places (for this journal), pieced it together, tweaked it, burnt it in the oven, etc. and the damn thing won't cooperate. I'm a novice at this, so forgive my ignorance.

Can someone tell me how to get rid of the tables at the top and bottom of the page? Whatever I'm doing is wrong and it's driving me batty.

I want to use one of Lobelia's really lovely layouts, Katinka, but I'm pretty html black-thumbed. I'd ask on her IJ but the last comments are all from last year. :(

Is there a way to change out the module code for the calendar to list the tags instead?

Are there any other places to go that are like pbcoding?

I'm working on a layout for a character that uses an S2 Bloggish style. Currently, the layout looks like this and I've gotten it to the point of having the navigation links centered. However, I'd like the nav links to look something like this instead and I've tried to get to that point but I just can't seem to reach it. Usually, I'm fairly good at figuring things out, but I have to say I'm rather stumped on this, lol. Any and all help would be greatly appreciated! :)

does anyone know how to get the date & time line above the subject line? i know how to get it below the subject, but i can't get the grasp of this one for some reason

So. I'm attempting to use this absolutely bamf and gorgeous layout from chestnutgallery, right? I'd love to change the entry header font, except every time I try and change it to something else, it just looks like this:



Which is boring as hell. Can someone tell me how to fix this?

I'm currently using and tweaking this layout from coding. At the moment it looks like this after I tried fiddling with the code, but I would like it to look like this.

A. Is it possible?
B. If it is possible, what part of the code should I actually be working on?

i'm pretty much the worst at all this fancy new coding stuff but i really want to learn and i keep trying and trying only to fail ha. so, i come with two questions how can i get a layout like this and how do you change the font in your screened post to be a font like is shown in that journal?

Hey there! I was wondering if anyone would be able to make a mock iPhone text messages layout? Not like a text generator, I mean -- something that looks like this that displays the 'inbox,' basically? Ideally, I'd love to be able to tweak the displayed time and service provider. I'm sure this isn't terribly complicated, but I don't have Photoshop and am still learning when it comes to HTML/CSS/all that good stuff.

i am not sure if this has been asked before and for some reason ij keeps failing when i go back too far on entries. would anyone know how to get the shape of the gif in the second entry as well as the entry itself in this journal. any help would be great thanks.

I am hopeless when it comes to finding journals for layouts, so any and all suggestions would be absolute love. Especially if they have a layout like this. Where do you people find these things?! I'm so jealous.

I have searched back through the previous posts and I can't find anything to really answer my question. I've seen a lot of layouts that look like this. I like that it's very simple. I was wondering if anybody could point in the right direction in order to get the layout or have the code handy. I've thought about finding one at coding to customize but I'd have to remove a lot and hoped someone might be able to save me a headache or two. Thanks in advance.

Hey guys quick question. Does anyone have the code to apply overrides to more than just the friends and recent view of a layout? Specifically I'm looking for how to apply the layout coding to the journal when you click on specific tags. Thanks in advance.

this may be a rather foolish question but i have to ask it anyway, does anyone know how to get the font in the header to appear/link to the correct links like in this journal? i know how to pull the coding for the layout but can not for the life of me figure out how to get that part to appear/work
