i'm pretty much the worst at all this fancy new coding stuff but i really want to learn and i keep trying and trying only to fail ha. so, i come with two questions how can i get a layout like this and how do you change the font in your screened post to be a font like is shown in that journal?

from the layout code: credit to ~coding@ij w/ a lot of modification by ~holli and some tinkering by ~lennny.

to get the font like that on your screened post, you need to use google webfonts. you can use this tutorial to learn how to set those up in your ij layout. once you have your font included in your layout's css, you just edit your screened post and use a font tag around the text like:
<font style="font-family:'GOOGLEFONTNAME';font-size:25pt;">Text you want here</font>
your google webfont won't show up when you view the entry itself (bc you only have the font specified in your journal layout css, you can't embed it into an entry itself or into ij's layout css), only when viewing your journal.
