I've seen people asking for this a lot, so here is my version of the code for making a portion of text into an lj-cut without parentheses. :D

Here's the code for using text as a cut tag. You can see it in action at telepathysucks.

<b><font face="georgia" style="text-transform: uppercase;">put the text that you don't want to be a link here and then <a href="LINK TO ENTRY" style="text-decoration: none;text-transform: uppercase;">your link goes here</a> and you can add some more stuff after if you want.</font></b><span style="display:none;"><lj-cut></span>

I've been searching for awhile and I'm either a horrible searched or blind as a bat but I seem to remember seeing a post about how to make lj-cuts appear as text but...I can't find the code for it. Help?

I have a question about how to do the parentheses-less cut-tags. For example, the entry would look like this on the friends page, but when you click the link it takes you to the entry itself, like so, so that the "cut tag's" text is part of the entry. Anyone know/have any suggestions? Thanks in advance!
