It's a strange thing to have someone (except Samantha isn't a someone she's infinitely more than that and that makes this all the more difficult) in his life who will notice his absence. He's not quite sure when that happened and while Frank has no issue with voicing his disapproval Jonathan finds himself doing something he's never done. He ignores Frank, shrugs of the animosity that comes from a place in his mind he's quietly growing distant from and stares at the blank page he's trying to put words on.

Hell. When did life get so complicated?

Ten minutes later there are words on the paper, not a lot but more than he's ever left anyone. He leaves the note on his workbench.
