To: All the residents of Gotham
Late Saturday night a plain, white envelope is left in every mailbox in Gotham City, a nasty little surprise for anyone checking yesterday's mail on Sunday morning. The contents of every envelope? A deadly toxic powder, that when released and breathed in will cause the person's nose to bleed. Ten minutes later they'll get a high fever, and after thirty they'll dissolve into violent fits of laughter and convulsions until they drop dead. No accompanying note, no traces of DNA or anything else to implicate a suspect. Not everyone will be dumb enough to open an unmarked envelope left unassumingly in their mailbox, but you would(n't) be surprised to know just how many people in Gotham still haven't learned. Since she doesn't know the names and addresses of the resident Bats, Birds & other familiar faces to target them directly, Amber's decided just to send them to everyone. You can't say she doesn't know how to get even? Tomorrow's day of rest will be quite literal for some.
