[It's been over a day since he was found in the snow, and after a full day of rest at the hospital, his headache was mostly gone and the full range of his arm had almost returned. He still wasn't sure what had happened, but he... knew things now.

They had all... died for him.

He wasn't certain how he was supposed to feel about that.

But that was no reason to continue hiding. He had to leave the house sometime and after the headache had faded, the nausea had as well. Hei was nearly famished for food. So, wrapped up in his coat and a scarf, Hei's walking to the ramen stand. Food first, then groceries. But... flicking on his network device, Hei clears his throat.]

I, uh... What do you know about regaining memories you... don't remember having? I seem to have acquired some.

[His smile is embarrassed. He feels like he should know these answers already from previous examples, but none of it made any sense, still.]

Acumen's systems tick over to midnight, and somewhere in the depths of the holding facility, dozens of little silver spheres shiver and come to life. They rise up into the air, dangling little bouquets of mistletoe, and hover in waiting for the door to open again. And when it does, they swoop out and work their way into the dome proper, making it out just in time for daybreak.

Now they're scattered all over the dome, Anissina's gifts and Eggman's souvenirs. They're seeking out people to bring together in the holiday spirit...

Whether they like it or not!

Night was falling, the smell of spices were in the air and Jennifer was busy putting the last finishing touches on all the hard work everyone had done to get the athletic complex decked out and festive.

Walking through the front door, you'll see a table where you can put all your presents on for now with a tree sitting behind it. Don't worry, the bots will make sure no one but Jennifer takes any gifts off the table! There's also a series of volunteers ready and willing to help you out of your coats if you need it, but otherwise, please don't hesitate to shed off a few layers.

It might be a little warm if you don't.

Inside the main entrance, Jennifer's taken care to section off the room into the main dancing area and a stage salvaged from the Valentine's Day auction off to the side for the performances later on. Surrounding the outer edges, are tables and settees salvaged from the Shelter so that those who wish to watch can do so in comfort. Do be careful though. Scented candles are lit on each table to provide a soft light to balance out the harshness of the lights over the dance floor.

And of course there's food. Punch and egg-nog and shrimp and cheese and a myriad of other finger foods. There are cookies decorated with frosting and lemon bars and cranberries and a giant bowl of sugared dates. Marzipan is scattered across the table and a small gingerbread house sits as a centerpiece, but the cake is the main attraction.

But the cake comes with a price. Anyone who wants a piece, must do what it says on the toothpick first. Have fun! And no cheating. Someone might be watching to make sure no one does.

Music is already playing and Jennifer's leaving things up to the host club to make sure people start dancing, because what's sadder then a ball with no dancing? Do make sure to enjoy yourselves. It's why we're all here!

I hope everyone's having a good day today despite the snow and really it's because of the snow that I just can't let this idea go--Ribbons suggested it!--but wouldn't it be nice to have a winter ball?

We'd have punch! And a fireplace! And of course we'd decorate with garland and ribbons and mistletoe and lots of other cheery, wintry things... It's a little late notice but, maybe if we all pitched in we could get something set-up in a few days? I'd hate to let all this snow go to waste!

Hah hah. [the sarcasm is obvious.] If this is a joke, it’s not funny. Sure, this place looks like ten steps up from where I’ve been, but this is too crazy. A prison? Couldn’t there be a better setting than this?

[Where he was once an early riser, since coming to the prison he's taken to sleeping in late and so it takes a few moments for Tamaki to wake up. There's something off about his bed. It's... warmer than it usually is on his right side and the wall feels - soft? That's not right. It's almost like there's a person pressing against him in bed.

He turns to his other side and blinks the remaining sleep from his eyes and lo and behold - there is another person in his bed. Another person that he recognises immediately.]

[Tamaki wastes no time in getting his communicator from his nightstand and turning on the video function. He does nothing to conceal his excitement, expression wise or volume wise. In fact, it wouldn't be surprising if he woke up the entire dome with his yelling.]

[Tieria stepped out of the clothing store with a coat he'd just picked up. He had forgotten he had given the other one from just after his arrival to Rei during the first night with the fog and monsters after the festival. Since he might need it tonight during their planned 'raid', he had come to get one. He was on his way to the shelter now to get a few things from the kitchen for a small meal, since he'd need his energy tonight and lack of appetite be damned, and then he would be going from there to Sector 3.

Would he run into someone somewhere during those trips or at the kitchen?]

[Alice is not looking happy here, and her red eyes are narrowed in a dangerous expression that should look totally out of place on a girl in pigtails. There's a distinct clink of a chain as she shifts slightly.]

Your Highnesses! If you are truly here, then answer me!

Where is N- Princess Nunnally? [She hesitates, but apparently steels her resolve. She's unworthy, but nonetheless devoted.] As her knight, I must know.

[Jack shoots up dramatically with a large gasp of breath. The pain from it immediately tells him that before this point, he had been dead. What happened last night?]

[He focuses on the device in front of his eyes and makes a small noise of excitement.] Oh~! What is this piece of work? It looks like some sort of communicator. [He pauses as he takes it off of his face and examines it.] This certainly isn't 21st century Earth technology...I'm not on a different planet...am I?

[Jack takes a long look around and sees that no, he is not on Earth anymore. At least...not a part of Earth he's ever been to.] It smells different too. [Sighs and shifts. It becomes quickly apparent that there's a ball and chain around his ankle then. He smirks at it a little.] So whoever kidnapped me has some sort of jail kink?

[He grins and looks over the message and list of crimes on his communicator. He also looks through the welcome basket for a while and snacks on the various little candies inside as he fiddles with the new device. Eventually he turns it onto Video. He figures that people should get a good view of his face, rather than his voice. Why would he ever be so secretive?]

Well hello, inmates! [The excited grin on his face gives the impression that he doesn't have a bullet popping out of his chest right now. You wouldn't ever guess that he just healed from a fatal gun-wound to the heart. Or that just a moment ago, in his own world, he was dead.] Captain Jack Harkness, at your service! Can anyone tell me where I can find some food in this place? [He's starving.]

Wow, everyone's so fussy this morning. When I stop to look outside or something, it's pretty funny to watch you know.

Not being able to see what's going on is sort of, well... It's kind of looking at people who are just hallucinating. Chasing butterflies in the outfield, so to speak. But I guess if it's enough to make you all yell and stuff then it's got to be creepy.  Scary,  since there's nothing I can do about it, but very funny too. Kind

Otherwise? It's sort of loud. I think I'll take my headset off today.

[Today, Ribbons had foregone the sporty attire and had on more of an academic attire. Which is just fitting as the first forty minutes of today's dance class is comprised of an overview of ballroom dancing etiquette -- from asking someone to dance, to being modest and never blaming one's partner for misshaps. The last twenty minutes are given to applying the lesson, and of course, practice dancing.]

[Those of you who are outside at nightfall and expecting the regular moonrise and starscape are in for a surprise. Rather than the moon, what rises in the night sky is a much larger Earth, backlit by the sun. Also visible are what might seem a strange sight... jutting out from Earth in three locations (two of which are visible at present) are the orbital elevators, long slender tubes for transporting people into space en masse. Each elevator ends in a base where there are many solar cells to collect sunlight for energy.]
