OK OK OK so first off, good luck, don't BREAK ANY BONES tomorrow, you're all super great, yadda yadda what am I even writing it's not like it's my job to give pep talks or cheer people on HAHA SORRY CAPTAINS GRAY AND PRINCE

Anyway so I was thinking a great way to BOOST MORALE before tomorrow's game is if we remind everyone who they're cheering for, i.e. THE HOTTEST ATHLETES IN THE WHOLE SCHOOL!!!! I've been working on this special project in Artificing, and I thiiiink it's ready for some REAL TESTING??? Get ready for the MVSC-branded...

MAGICAL PHOTOBOOTH
Mr. Oakes has been helping me build it and it's going to be sooooo gooooooood when it's working right. Which it's NOT YET like I'm still working on the part where it shoots out your photos right after you go in, but I'll develop all the film tonight and get you guys to sign your BEST SHOT, and we'll do some Duplication Charms. You know what that means. INSTANT TRADING CARDS of the babeliest Quidditch players and cheerleaders to give out to everyone tomorrow and boost morale.

I'm going to set it up just outside the changing rooms while Ribbonfin is practicing and it'll be DISGUISED as like some tarp for painting that side of the wall or whatever, but you just step in and strike your sexiest pose (clothing optional WINK WINK) and it'll take a few photos of you just automagically!!!! PLS DO IT PLSSSSSSSS you'll be helping out a sophomore with his school project :(

At the mandatory assembly, Ms. Vector tells the students that Agent Larke and Dr. O'Hare are going to remain on campus for an indefinite period of time as they investigate the woods to determine what's happening and what the presence exactly is. She says students are expected to be respectful of their guests, that they should listen to them, and that they shouldn't interfere with their duties here.

Agent Larke steps up to the dais. "First off, thank you, Gooseberry, for being excellent hosts. Dr. O'Hare and I are going to be as unobtrusive as we possibly can, but..." They apparently have some orders, and that's for the students to stop provoking whatever this creature is. Therefore, they're all asked to:

• Stop talking to the Anonymous Writer.


• Stop going to the Grotto.


• Stop leaving things for the unknown creature or otherwise trying to interact with it.


• If you've had any experiences this year that you think are significant, they would like the students to share with them.

Agent Larke steps aside for Dr. O'Hare, who sighs as he looks at the gathered students. "From my understanding so far, we're dealing with a sentient magical entity which has not made itself easy to find or identify. There are likely two of them. These unknown entities rarely, if ever, interact with adults." He looks over his shoulder at the teachers, whose expressions confirm his statement. "As their interest seems to be solely in you kids, we want to emphasize that you not bait them. This is important for my research."

"And for your safety!" Agent Larke adds after a beat. "That's important too!" Her partner merely huffs as he steps off the dais.

Ms. Vector wraps up the assembly by saying the school will be sending letters to everyone's parents explaining about the developing situation with a magical anomaly in the school's surrounding area. This is currently being looked into by the DMLE and the Magical Forest Service. The letter will include an admission of how a student went missing overnight, possibly as a result of this, but was found unharmed. Classes are continuing as normal, and the school is doing everything in their power to keep the students safe.
