So, anyone want to explain how I ended up a Prefect? I'm pretty sure it was a last second decision and they decided to throw our names into a hat. It's the only logical solution here.

Who else is taking animagus studies this year? This will be my first year and I'm so excited to be starting! Have you lot studied or done any preliminary research over the summer? I brought some interesting books related to the subject if anyone would like to borrow one for the weekend. I found them most illuminating.

Welcome back, Gooseberry! It's a beautiful time to be in sunny Utah! The sun is shining, and... well, that's about it. But it could be worse, we could be in Kansas or Nebraska or Idaho or something. I mean, not that those places are bad, sorry if you like those places. I'm not trying to offend anybody. It's just nice to be back.

When do you guys think Mr. Covington will let us say hi to the horses? Will we have to wait until Tuesday? That would suck.

SIXTY MILES is how far I needed to go before I could shake Samantha's perfume out of my nostrils. Shit smells exactly like hotdogs, don't care how much she got conned into paying for it. At least one of you is a good enough friend that if a demon possessed me and made me wear perfume, you'd let me know if it smelled like hotdogs right?

Good Lord, I'm glad to be here at last. It was a great summer and all but that bus ride amirite? Some of y'all know what I'm talking about and it ain't the ones from California. Why they don't just get a couple more buses or pick us up and head back once they're done with a state is beyond me. Or just floo. Flooing is a thing! Portkeys! Personal side-along apparation like we're dangerous criminals! All kinds of ways to do this besides the one that leaves me with a sore ass every damn time.

Well, I didn't start this school year with the most grace, but what is the point of wearing cute underwear if no one gets to see it, hm?

So, fellow Gooseberrians, what embarassing things did you get up to this summer? Dare to make us blush?

It's all in the past now, so we can have a good laugh about it.
