Guess who was able to wrangle herself a job at the Metropolis library?

I'm going to do some serious turning upside down of the boring regime they've got going during children's story hour. Harry Potter, Where the Wild Things Are, a lot of Shel Silverstien and Dr. Seuss, Curious George, Puff the Magic Dragon...

Oh, Anne of Green Gables! The age range might vary, so I might have to tweak things, but the important thing is that I've got a job. And I get to use voices in that job. And if I slip in a few bars or a little something or other in the name of entertainment who is going to complain?

So two questions.

1. Where can I buy a second hand guitar?

2. Is there anyone here that would like some tutoring help? I know that all of our worlds are different, but this universe is close enough to mine that I feel confident in tutoring English, Math, History, Science, Social Studies up to a college level. It's okay if you can't afford to pay me anything. We can barter knowledge or something. I'm sure each of you have something I'd love to learn.

ETA: I'm a teacher where I come from. For those of you who haven't met me.

So...quick questions:

1.) What's the likelihood someone around here would know how to bullshit some paperwork to make Clove & I legit citizens and, in addition, make me her legal guardian so I can register her for classes?
2.) I've never had to register someone for school before...how does one, you know...do that?

Think you can step off Team Peeta long enough to tutor Clove a little so that she'll be prepared to start school no later than when the holiday break is over? You said you're a teacher, right? She really wants to go.

Did you know that there is a place on this thing where you can watch videos. There are some very ridiculous videos on this...Maybe I should have had a "Sassy Gay Friend" instead of Flounder, once upon a time, as far as this world is concerned...but I'm very glad I didn't.

Day trip down to Smallville again for any who might want to come this weekend. We'll do the charter bus again (THANKS OLIVER) and the Fall Festival starts this weekend so you'll get to partake in all the fun-filled events from Ferris Wheel rides to pie eating contests.

Get it? Because of Kansas and the Wizard of Oz. Which I've seen over seventy-five times. Seriously. I made myself a certificate. Seventy-five viewings is kind of a momentus occasion. But yeah, I'm not Dorothy. I'm Jess and I'm in Kansas, even though I fell asleep in L.A.

Like, at first I thought it was kind of cool. Time travel or inter-demensional travel, whatever this is. And then I was worried that I'd died and gone to Kansas heaven, but people tell me that this is normal for this place. So I've kind of given up hope of seeing my grandparents around. Which is kind of a bummer, but I'm glad I'm not dead.
