my name is melody and i was wondering why people make the pumpkins look scary in the little town we're at?

are they supposed to scare away the creatures in the big city?

I know that I can't actually be in Kansas because I fell asleep in my apartment and there has to be a logical explanation to this because there is no way that watching Doctor Space Time and then falling asleep to it could actually transport you through space and time.

So this has to be a dream, or a nightmare. Clearly the library is my safezone and… no one's actually seen an phone booth around, have they? Or a guy with a funny hat? Or an old time British police man?

Um...so, I don't mean to knock the public school system here or anything, but...is it normal for a bunch of Stepford kids to be walking in pairs down the street or are there weirdo cults in Metropolis just like anywhere else...? Because I definitely just saw that happen. Right, time to get the kids home from the park now...

So for various reasons since all of you displaced people started showing up here, I haven't really been around much. But I'm back now.

I've noticed my fellow displaced people have been finding work here and I imagine I should look into doing the same. Is there someone I can speak to about obtaining the documents I'll need? I had a law degree back home, but most of my actual experience is in banking and finance.

Anyone who still wants in for the trip down to Smallville for the wholesale club shopping and farmer's market, the bus leaves at 10 tomorrow. I think we'll get back by seven at the latest depending on fun traffic and how long you all really want to stay around.

We'll also be hitting up the Talon and if there's anything else you guys want to see in Smallville we can do that too. I doubt it. Smallville is called Smallville for a reason.

No one ask about the Luthor mansion because that's not on the agenda even as a drive by.

Hey...so...this is really awkward and I'm really sorry, but you're the only person I really know here and I hired this girl to watch my kids and she did fine during the game at Penny's and everything, but she's a kid and she's got school and I sort of...have an interview at Queen Industries on Monday so...I was just wondering if you could maybe...watch the boys for me for an hour in the morning...? Please?

Idaho State vs Nebraska game tomorrow afternoon. Kick-off's at 2:30, so feel free to drop by anytime after 2.

Right now, it looks like it's going to be a small party because my roommates are party poopers so I don't think we actually need to do anything potluck-y. I'll jot down the names of who's coming just as a reminder for those guys. If you didn't respond to my last post, but still want to watch the gloriousness that is college football with a few awesome ladies and one amazing guy, feel free.
