[In the center of the arena today stands the statue of the Twins, identical faces smiling just slightly, each with a hand frozen in raised greeting. The single long table before the throne is lined with chairs enough for every blank to take a seat, and each place has been set with cutlery and a plate of polished wood. In the center of the table, low bowls in each of the team colors are arranged, their hues setting off the strange, shimmering grey of the flowers that float in the water they contain. Hedged in around the bowls, almost crowding them out, is food- melons, peaches, grapes; an assortment of cheese, yellow, white, and red; and soft, savory rolls with plates of creamy herb butter.]

[The voice that speaks is light and playful- amused.]

A pleasant morning to you, little blanks. I had such fun with our last game that I've decided to arrange another, and my charming sister has agreed to lend her assistance again.

[The arena is much like how you remember it being before The Game Master made his... dramatic appearance. Well lit, with something-like-a-sky high overhead. Plush grass blankets the ground around the throne in which Beauty sits, her legs crossed, leaning on one arm.

Around the grass are scattered five small stages, on each a single black stool, and and three booths, each divided by a high wall and with heavy curtains hiding the inside.]

Welcome, all. Today's game is simple, harmless, and may repair some of the dissonance caused between you recently. Those who wish to participate, please write your name on a slip of paper and place it within the box. The rest of you may simply sit and enjoy watching the game. I will be prepared soon.

[Now that THAT mess is all over, there is a noodle dragging whatever's left of the Canis/Lacerta cooking supplies out into the common area. Even Watanuki's private stashes are coming out, like garlic and cinnamon and other little extra bits he's saved from his cooking for Ophi. And once everything is arranged to his liking, he begins to cook.]

A kitchen would really be easier, but in terms of space ...

[It's the familiar tug, letting you know, now, that it is over. No more fear of Ophiuchus coming to your door. No more lost limbs, eyes, slow deaths. You can gather yourselves and begin the trek to the arena.

When you arrive, it is ominously the same. The bright circle, the colorful flames, and the cloaked man on the throne. His voice does not boom, but is loud and even in the darkness.]

Blanks. We are all but done. The fifth day is now gone, and you have no more chances to save yourselves or others. What you have chosen will result in your own fate, for every choice has a consequence.

Those of you injured, those of you with dead, with crippled with sick. Into the light. Any ills gained from my Cards I will lift from you.

And when you are done there, into your own circles, one last time. You will learn if you have won, or lost. If you will return home to treasures or emptiness.

It has been a pleasure, for me, Blanks. You will not wish it, but I will run games for you again.

HEALING works by anyone who is dead or lost any body parts or sustained any injuries from the cards directly will be healed. If you are injured because, say, you got into a fistfight with your teammate over who should take the card punishment, THAT won't be healed. But even incidents like. Oh. Ash or Zim going completely overboard? Fixed. 100%

ICly, winners will only be announced privately. If your characters want to know which teams have won, they will have to figure it out. or the winners can announce themselves. Doesn't matter!
