[There are a few members of Ophiuchus this afternoon, as some are hunting, as some are returning from a game, setting up a wide variety of liquor bottles and shot glasses on a folding table.

There seems like a good amount of alcohol here. More importantly, it seems to be alcohol of fine quality. In the middle of a high stress period.

A very young looking Ophiuchus member, trimmed in gold, is arranging glasses in precise little rows.]

In honor of the Shadow, we're holding a little good natured game. The prizes for whatever is left of this at the end and a single item you request... Anyone interested?

Hello? Hello? Blanks? I am bored, I can't see you...

[There is a whisper coming from the Arena, and if you start walking towards it, you will find that the time it takes to walk there is sped up as when there is a game. The sickly green light is still illuminating the Arena, but the dampened sound is gone for now at least. The Mirror from the beginning of the play is still there too, and in the back there is Haunteds mansion with it's (not so) invitingly door open.]

I remembered a game I played last time I was on a sleepover, so I modified it to fit my tastes a bit more. Won't you come in to my house and play a round of Truth or Dare?

[There is currently an Ophi who decided to stay in today. He appears to be taken up with writing down notes and smiling to himself--outright grinning or even laughing at some points. Oh dear.]

[Well, we were told to do some everyday task as a pony. Man, the dorms are much closer when you're four-legged (or winged, in some cases). Trot-trot-trot.]

[Each Ophiuchus have heard this, be it on the air, from an animal, from the Oracle deep in his mountain sanctuary, or the vision of their god themselves:

The Old Woman angers, and her fury is terrible. The Gods are speaking with her, calming her flames; however, wish to protect the people of their lands.

Scatter to the sacred countries of the First Land. Worry not for those on other parts of this world, we do for them what we can. To each of the countries, you are to tell them to bring their builders, machinery and magic. To bring food and supplies of water. To bring their people, and resources, wood and stone and metal. They must gather at the base of the great mountain.

A grand structure will be erected under the oversight of the Oracle. When it is complete it will be blessed by the Gods all and one, as the greatest shelter during this time of trouble.

This must be complete by the end of this year, or all shall be lost.]

[Each are also told that if negotiations fail or this tithing to the Gods are lackluster or weak, they have authority to take over the rule of the country.]

[Once again, that strange patchwork of light and reality bathes the arena. Deep, impenetrable darkness wars with scattered rays of light, illuminating tiny slices of some seemingly unconnected scenery. Here a patch of lush, bluish tinged grass is warmed by the sun and blown by the breeze. There half of a delicate stone fountain is bathed in the first morning light... And over there you see a strange, fuzzy creature skittering and scrambling up a sheer rock face, ducking nervously in and out of shadows.

Scenes like this are scattered throughout the entire Arena without any sense of rhyme or reason... But as you walk further, you find yourself having to step on or around more and more thread. Fourteen shades of fine thread loop, scatter and tangle, condensing and congregating below the throne... leading to fourteen looms, each with a primitive, fuzzy picture coming into view, line by line- starting with the sky at the top.

When you look directly at the throne, it seems empty. It is only out of the corners of your eyes do you catch fleeting glimpses... sometimes fingers twined with thread... sometimes a face: matured with age, but warm and kindly.]

W... d...seek.... ?

[It's Charming and Himiko's turn to patrol to make sure no one goes too near the lake, but instead of walking around they're sitting at the cave entrances near Hydracula and playing with a trio of dice. They might even be bored enough to play blanks for trinkets!]

On a table in the common lounge, sat a small familiar hydra, all three heads busily nosing through a large book. A small stack of papers sat near it. "My, my," she started, only one head looking up from the book as the others continued to read, "How could such a team be so busy and so lazy at the same time? Honestly, it seems like you're having trouble enforcing basic rules! A certain someone is bit flustered at all the paperwork involved with this."

The hydra tapped her head and turned the page. "But! That is why I'm here to assist you! And, really, if you're going to correct someone, you may as well teach them a thing or two while doing so, right?"
