Sabra La Tau OOC

SO WE SHOULD PLAN SOME DATES TO PLAY OUT GOD-SMASHIN I was going to totally take the reins and set dates but frankly I don't think I need to. Also there's no time in the forseeable future that I have a good long block to run things. So the questions are:

-Who has a God that they wanna play out smashin'?
-Who would feel comfortable taking some initiative and playing out the start of this? I think really it could be either gods or humans who advocate this and push it along. MAYBE BOTH!?!?!? MAYBE ACTUALLY GODS AND MORTALS TALKING TO EACH OTHER LIKE RATIONAL BEINGS??? (<- this is how you know we have to be, like, way AU)
-What dates seem good? Maybe have a few dates?


I should also say, that I think those of us who want to app to WS should do that as soon as we like. The beauty of backstory is that it can be done at our leisure. Also I think no one should need to feel compelled to do both, to be involved in either. Just wanna derp in Antiqua? COOL. Don't care about backstory and want to just go be in space? ALSO COOL.


Also if you have no idea what's going on jump up and down and yell. Someone will love to fill you in I will give you a hint the answer is SPAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAACE

Due to me only having one weekend off reliably between now and late June, that thing will be happening Memorial Day weekend (so that's May 25th/26th, which yes is also the time a lot of folks are traveling to Seattle.

Therefor, the schedule will be:

- Stuff will start Friday afternoon/evening
- Stuff will continue to happen Saturday morning
- Everything will be wrapped up early Saturday by late afternoon

If you can only make some parts of this you are welcome to.

HELLO SABRA LOVERS

As mentioned before, I enjoyed my months in Sabra a great deal and am putting together a Sabra book. The idea is an all-character, all time period doujinshi-style anthology with all sorts of art, stories, whatever. And I'd love it if you would contribute as well!

I've put in some of the stuff that was floating around Plurk during the finale, but there's definitely a whoooooooole lot more beyond that between all of us, and I'm hoping this thing grows every time it gets played over again.

Okok. So I have nothing to do with my spare time.

And I decided to make a "sidebar" with all of the characters put into their proper teams. Which is actually kind of tricky!

Things to consider:
—First-versions of a character previously apped are not included in this version. Example: Tsuna is on Lacerta, but the first Tsuna we had was on Cygnus--should this be an included thing?
—People who were originally blanks but ended up being on Ophiuchus are on Ophiuchus--should this be changed?
—I am aiming to go for chronological order of when people FIRST awoke. I managed it with Vulp (lolol tiny team is tiny...) and Corvus and a couple of others, I think. But please do help out if you know the right order 8U
—The Ophiuchus who were there BEFORE Ophiuchus got split into units are at the top of the Ophiuchu bracket. It's the only way I could think to keep it all straight :X
—There's a list of people at the bottom that I. Just. Don't recognize/likely were from before my time and is lost to the downfall of Inksome. So if you recognize what team their on, aidez-moi, s'il vous plait!

ANYWAY the idea was brought up in chan of commissioning an artist to paint this for us. Because. You guys. Holy shit.

This is the artist we had in mind. Claude worked with her before on this commission which is amazing, just look at it. She is fabulous and her prices are amazing.

Notes: These are planned to be "show" or "story" events. There's not a lot that can be influenced in these, but a whole lot to react to. Short of the epilogue, this will be the LAST show event we run.

What: 2-3 planned events
When: Starting about 7PM EST for the Prom

First: 4-5 hours
Second: 4-5 hours. Done by 4am EST at the latest.
Notes: OKAYOKAY, we're running things damn near 24 hours with a break on Saturday morning to try to catch all the time zones. ALL OF THEM. DO NOT KILL YOURSELVES OR YOUR SLEEP SCHEDULE thinking you have to be in EVERY ONE (we for one, are doing shifts to make this work.) They will be designed to be simultaneous or with a built in reason why you'd be somewhere else, and EVERY event will have something for you to do. PLAY RESPONSIBLY. (I know, I know, but I had to try)

SATURDAY
What: At LEAST 3 planned events, more depending on you guys
When: Beginning at 12 noon EST
Runtime: Approx 6-10 hours
Notes: WE WILL NEED HELP FOR ONE PART OF THIS as to not die. Assistants should be fast, good with or at least like battles and be pretty flexible. Guaranteed right to be awesome in other things we're doing. We will probably start needing helpers in the early afternoon/late evening.

We are aiming to be DONE Saturday night, with ending cutscene somewhere around 8-9 EST (SUPER APPROXIMATE. SUPER APPROXIMATE) so that we can have the highest spread of people there for it. But we sure will use Sunday if we have to for final wrap-up of mod-driven scenes/threads.

We will have several events possibly running very close to each other. The person running yours will set up a channel for you to lurk to optimize your sabrapings. THEY WILL BE ANNOUNCED IN THE POSTS.

MAGICAL MOONTIME TIME CONVERSION.

Hi guys!

We are gearing up to make this finale as rad as possible. As such there a bunch of tagged posts in the Mod journal.

Here's what's up with these! They are not required to be answered. If you do answer some, you don't have to answer all. If you answer some with some characters and all with other characters, and your last character you only answer one with, that's cool too. We ask that every comment contain an answer for one character only, tagged with their name and team- just like signing up for a game. Whatever answers we do or don't get, we'll roll with. Answering or not answering will do nothing to change your inclusion in Endgame Awesometimes.

Also, please note that giving your permission for anything does not guaranty your inclusion in that particular act, but the more info we get, the better!

Unfortunately, we won't be able to go through with the upcoming Twins game! We're super sorry if anyone was counting on it for memories, but hopefully it will be a little more breathing room for the end of the game this weekend.

HELLO FOLKS. So we are gearing up for the endgame both oocly AND icly, so naturally someone had to decide to organize a large IC meeting at some point. Mitsuru and Scowl are going to be aiming to do exactly that! We'll be putting the post up TOMORROW@6pm EST/8am JST/11pm GMT

I realize this is short notice, but rest assured that this meeting can be poked at throughout the entire week up to the prom! In fact I encourage that happening! I also encourage handwaving that the message there's going to be a meeting has spread around somehow. Scowl is going to be tapping Allen, Red, Link, Jace, and Ikki specifically (you guys handwave plz i am dying) and Apus and Cetus will likely get involved via Orion tapping them, so there are a lot of people who will be aware of it and potentially able to spread it to others. GO WILD.

Uhhh other important ic thing to note: the meeting will be taking place in one of the abandoned dorms so that it's neutral ground for all.

But this also means AREA AFFECT. TIME IS BOTH BROKEN and she was a REALLY powerful Judge, so this can last as long as you want. EFFECTS ARE OPT IN AND UP TO YOUR INTERPRETATION.

It is a lowering of impulse control and inhibitions. It is an emotional amplification, in particularly the more selfish and self satisfying emotions. You're a million times more likely to punch that annoying person you've been smiling at politely for the last 50 days and feel SO GOOD ABOUT IT.

Without getting too gushy (and please believe, there will be gushing later) we have had so, so much fun ramping up the plot and exploding all the things with everyone. But it feels like stamina is running low all around, and attention is wandering. Which is cool! No one can’t say that a whole crapton of awesome RPing has not gone down in this place.

So it’s about time for Last Calls, ladies and gents. We are looking to have next weekend conclude the plot of Sabra La Tau.

Prom will kick off some time Friday in the generally “this is when most people can make it” slot of mid-afternoon PST. We’ll probably try to pull something like the last Mirror Quest when we have two or three definite slots of Shit Going Down, looking to have all the down-going shit well and down-gotten by Sunday. After that, everyone is free to after-party/sandbox/musebox to their hearts content. In other words: you don’t have to go home, but we ain’t moddin’ here.

ALONG THOSE LINES if there are characters you feel like picking up for endgame now is the time. If you put in a reapp, a mod will stamp it as soon as they see it and you can get to playing!

OPINIONS NEEDED we are also thinking of lifting character limits/activity/whatever for this last week, that you may all get ALL OF THE REAPP CHARACTERS in there. But as stated, we know that energy levels are getting in the red in some cases.

SO BASICALLY: Would picking back up your umpteen dropped character be an awesome thing you would love, or a thing that may stretch already thinned attentions?

For one... feel free to continue 301 as you would. 302 will suddenly be when everything started (they skipped forward a bit, and backwards, and a little sideways but ultimately and relatively only a hair forward, practically the same spot.)

Physical alterations. ANY AGE, reincarnations, old sabra if you feel the wish! 24 hours of course, until the power settles!

HOWEVER, from now on (permanently), the time cycle is highly unpredictable. There's no lighter and darker of the days as far as the torches go, they keep about the same luminance, though curfew certainly does fall. They just burn... (and occasionally go out randomly.)

IF YOU VISIT THE OLD CITY, it is completely restored (temporarily), in fact, you may find food on the table, saddled orvi waiting... just oddly devoid of people.

Feel free to play any time antics you like up to your imagination's fullest~ You can be completely aware that time is wrong, or absolutely unaware. Do a post from 10 days ago, repeat your morning routine a few times.

SO! As of the morning of day 301... you may wander out of your dorm to feel a bit more MANLY, a bit more BADASS, and overall EXTREMELY COLD.
