[Man, didn't you just see this Judge? Well, today's game is Persona again, and she appears to be back to her usual modus operandi - unconscious people in black chairs. Today's victims are Excel, Kaito, Nora, Kohaku, Almaz, and Tailmon. Rather than the usual doors with colored assignments, however, there's simply one enormous black door, standing before the statue.]

Did you know that a heart is only as strong as its weakest link? That hidden in the darkness of cracks and corners, there are fears and insecurities the heart would be better off without? If I told you that you are to kill a piece of the heart today, something with real presence, such as a face and a voice... how would you respond? Would you forfeit the Game? [As you step into the Arena, the titles fade away, as well as the strangeness that accompanied them. By the time you reach the Judge's statue, you feel normal again. Around said statue, there are tables set up, with color-coded tablecloths.]

[The lights don’t seem quite as bright as they usually are in the arena today. The dimmed lights make it impossible to see far into the arena, but even so the grand Victorian mansion taking up the centre of it would be difficult to miss. It looks like it could have seen better days, the paint flaking off and a few of the glass panes of the windows broken. The curtains are all drawn on the first of the three floors, making it neigh impossible to take a peek inside. The front of the mansion is adorned with six doors in a row though, each door’s frame painted in two colours, one door for every pair of partner teams.]

[Behind the mansion, on top of the throne, sits a new statue in complete silence. And despite the lack of head, you might feel as if you’re being closely watched by it.]

[Of course, once you make your way into the arena you might care about neither of the things mentioned above, because sitting in a circle are eleven familiar shapes, the twelfth shape being a pair of Groucho Marx glasses. If you look closely enough you can see how they are still breathing, if very faintly. And floating above each and everyone of them, well out of reach from you, is a tiny rag doll replica of the unconscious blank (or little dollsized glasses in case of Dingbatticus).]

"It was a dark and stormy night. . .or it would be in any other horror story," the Judge laughed, seated on the stone throne, her book closed. This was more of a mystery, she mused. It was quite shocking to see such unlikely teams and more surprising enemies, but that's what makes a story so great! Ah, but some questions and clues were left unanswered. Would this help or hinder the sheep? Who knows. . .

The vote-keeping sheep returned to the arena. The game was on yet again!

[After much trial and tribulation and some failed attempts, which noodle is doing his best to ignore, Watanuki is outside the Canis/Lacerta dorms carefully pulling candy made from bearbee blood. There's already a neat little spread of candy (placed carefully on lizard-fat greased paper) that's cooling in the evening chill.]

Ow--! I really need to get a good pair of gloves or something. Stupid hot candy.
