[The border between Orion and Cepheus is often a perilous place, with refugees going to and beastmen going fro. Still, there are some places where the fighting hasn't yet reached, and if you know where they are and how to reach them it can be a pleasant respite. Of course, when your village is in the treetops and so is the local bar, getting drunk up there could be slightly hazardous, but it's your own damn fault if you fall off.]

[This soon-to-be-evening, if one should be passing by, there is the most curious of sights. What appears to be nearly all of Pavo's baskets are sitting in the common area, and each is filled to the brim with different plants, from flower bud to feeder roots.

More curious, the garden sits completely undisturbed, the members of Pavo seeming to be far more concerned with dissecting, boiling, squeezing and studying their catch. A small cooking fire provides boiling water and a place to sear plants against hot coals, and the smells from both range from tasty, to. Well. That one was just bad.]

But now there's a nice little array of bananas and apples set out; he's attempting to cut one of said apples with his knife.]
