[OH LOOK IT'S A RANDOM NICE BIG CHUNK OF CEILING TO FLOOR ROCK. But, gosh, what's going on here?

Leading away from it is a series of two reasonably flat, pillow-sized rocks, set out like stepping stones! The first is set REALLY REALLY FAR AWAY, and the second is half that distance again; Trixie has just finished placing down a third.] Whew… That should do it.

[If it were not for the refreshing of rations, and the low rumble of the snake moving irritably, you may not even know that the rankings had been called this month, as they stayed absolutely static.

For most, however, bedsheets and coffee aren't really a large concern compared to the atmosphere hanging overhead and the way the opening to the snake's chambers feels... dangerously warm.]

[ALL THE THINGS ARE HAPPENING AT ONCE gosh okay I need to stop putting off talking to Daisy. Taisuke and his stalker are standing outside of Pyxis with Daisy's shirt, having finally worked up the nerve to go talk to him. Deep breath and knocking, DO OR DIE TIME.]

[After the small explosion, the escaped plant monsters and the Queen mongling from the previous day, Ophiuchus is up bright and early knocking on peoples doors. WE'RE ON A WITCH HUNT.]

[The torches are beginning to dim for the evening over what was a rather ... exciting day for the regular Blanks... The barracks still remain a center of calm to walk back into for an Ophiuchus.

So much so, that would one wander down, they might find the enormous snake sleeping lightly on its own coils.]

[The bleating of goats call you to the arena once again. The statue of a young boy sits on the throne, his chin resting on his hands. There is a simple, wooden raised platform right below the throne that serves as a stage. Decorating the ground in front of the stage are enough cushions and pillows for everyone to sit on. Circling the stage area are simple panels in team colors. On them are three buttons. The Kid sounds tired... bored...]

[The Apus common room is decked out for a party, even if the decorations look like they were grabbed from the fields and/or someone's bedroom in the past 15 minutes. Jerky and carrot slices are arranged on plates, and the letters "HAPPY BA" are arranged in bits of rock and bone on the floor. Cheer is staring at this last bit contemplatively]

[The change this evening comes sometime after dinner. Rattling the dishes and tables, the movement of the Guardian really is almost a familiar sound by now... but the changes are anything but.

Caduceus enjoys the first place and Uroboros falls to last, making it more than a little unusual evening to say the least. That alone would have been enough if it were not for what followed:]

Gather, Ophiuchusssss. I have both an order and sssservicccce from the King.

Taisuke has basically made enough food and laid out in the common room to feed every sub-unit. And he's still going.]

Down in the Guardian's chamber, the great snake rests, much like always, but there's something about it, perhaps the more energetic, erratic flicker of flames or how it keeps testing the air that seems restless, if not agitated.]
