[The roadways narrow as they start to be overtaken by old neighborhoods. Little remains of the buildings here, though what remains of the structure is undamaged stone with settings within to have been built upon, suggesting at the least that the favored material in this neighborhood was a far more perishable material.

Little as you pass is greater than waist-high, though a few small shelters, barely shacks in size remain intact, doors missing and framed windows gaping open with little to stop a curious visitor.]

[Stone and wrought iron fencing surrounds a large field and cuts the whole area from even the view of the north. Little vegetation seems to flourish here and to the south, you see a dry, deep... and expansive lakebed dry of all water.

In front of you is an enormous stone building. The outside is plain, the stone still smooth and unblemished by much of the passing of time. The doors are missing, the wood long since rotten or eaten off the hinges.]

[The city opens up into a large square here. A gigantic granite platform rises up out of the cobblestone street. At least three or four feet in height, several small staircases have been cut into it. The only hint of what this five sided stone could have possibly been for is an inscription on the south side of the stone that simply states: The Speaker's Square.

More than enough room exists here for a large crowd to gather to any side. The presence of what appears to be the remains of a large tavern to the north at least evokes the mental images of a few more … interesting speeches, provided the pontificator could make it up the narrow steps.]

[As you follow the path past the buildings and away from the city, it starts to wind upwards, finally ascending into a flat stone circle carved into the rock face. All around it, seats circle the small circular stage like natural risers.

Your footfalls seem … louder here, echoing with uncanny acoustics.

Another two sets of seating have been carved even higher up, a path winds, switches and stretches upwards, offering a way up for the more surefooted or determined.]

[By the standards of architecture throughout the entire ruins you've seen so far, this stands out as one of the most impressive buildings. For one, the size... while stone, a thick blocked brick and a foundation of granite, it has more than one floor. The enormous doors, obviously locked, once held wood in the center, but now are open to any passage through the metal casings. More than a few lizard tracks indicate that it has not gone unnoticed by the local wildlife. There seems to be enough room to squeeze through if you tried.]

[A rare wooden building still stands... or rather, it seems to have been rebuilt several times past any effort put into the houses and shops. Some mushwood planks of the walls seem perhaps not long replaced, at all. Others sit by the grace of lack of moisture, light and a lot of hopeful suggestion.

A metal sign still sits in front of it, a stylized flagon proudly displayed on it, perhaps contributing to its continued importance to Blanks.

The roof, however, is in more perilous shape, most of it sagging in the center.]
