Who: Everyone
What: Easter Charity Ball
Where: Regency Ballroom
When: April 24th (The day started with an Easter Egg hunt for the Orphans of Seattle, continued with a light brunch, and in the evening with the Ball. The teenage children are in attendance at the party, ranging from 14-18 and all are dressed moderately nicely, courtesy of donations)
Warnings: Threads are party style. Please use appropriate warnings for explicit content in subject lines, if necessary.

The Main Ballroom is a beaux-art treasure with thirty-five foot ceilings, twenty-two turn-of-the-century teardrop chandeliers, and blonde hardwood floors. Green tool is threaded on the outskirts of the room, with pops of colored tool arranged here and there. Circular tables - comfortably seating eight - form a u-shape around a section of hardwood left open as a dance floor in front of the stage. Each table has a pastel colored tablecloth, ranging from blue to pink to green. Each table has a floral centerpiece, but are otherwise undecorated. A band is playing on stage, but the music is relatively low-key, creating atmosphere.

The Balcony is u-shaped and can be reached by two winding staircases on either side of the entrance into the Main Ballroom. There is a bar located right in the center, directly above said main entrance. The decorations are very much the same, though small stainless steel tables dot the area, tall and thin, merely meant as a place to congregate around or place drinks on.

Note: Despite it being an open event, Genevieve has tight security. She doesn't want brawls breaking out anywhere. There isn't any media presence except for a handful of Times staff members.
