Day 44.

Weather: Mid 70s again. There is a large rainstorm around 4AM, but it's stopped before anyone heads out this morning, leaving a comfortable, somewhat overcast day.

Events: Early in the morning, starting around 5AM a few people are going to have some very similar, strange dreams. The dream starts with them getting out of their bed, then leaving their room and heading outside to find that they're no longer in the Mount Zenith forest that they've been in, but have found themselves in a whimsical, surreal landscape that could be a forest, but seems more like at best a Dr. Seuss book, and at worst, a Hieronymus Bosch painting. In the dream, they feel compelled to walk through this strange landscape, barefoot and in their pajamas, until... Well, they don't know. They just know that there's something that they're walking towards, and they need to find whatever it is their path through this dreamscape is leading them to.

Hey, bad news for anyone who's sharing a room: One person in every shared room is going to get out of their bed before the sun comes up and just leave. If their roommate does wake up as they are leaving, they'll just mumble something about a bathroom or water as they dreamily make their exit. The good news is, despite this group leaving before the sun comes up, none of them are attacked by monsters. The bad news is, that doesn't necessarily mean they're safe. In fact, they are going to wake up in some pretty precarious situations all over the map.

Kiley can be found sitting at the edge of a canyon cliff at Q25, with her legs dangling off the side. It is not an immediately accessible spot that she's found in, which means she'd had to have done some climbing down.

Oliver can be found right at Marker 3, over at S33. Not only has he made his way through highland terrain, but he's also halfway up a long ladder up to what appears to be some kind of ranger station lookout tower that's quite a number of feet in the air. The ladder, while sturdy, does not start at ground level. It starts about 9 feet up. Oliver is about 6 feet above that.

Dylan can be found at Marker 5, or S24, where there's a beautiful waterfall that falls into the lake in the canyon. Behind the waterfall is not just the backside of water, but a small, narrow cave. Dylan's managed to either climb or swim into it.

Lennon can be found in the lake, at V27. He's far out enough that the water is deep and requires swimming, but not far out enough that he can't be spotted from the shore. While in his dream state, he has just been wading in the water.

Marco can be found at the banks of the small lake at H34. The rains have softened the dirt around there, and Marco has managed to sink into thick mud to almost his belly button before finding himself unable to move further forward or backwards. He's going to need some help being extracted.

Jack can be found in the thick forest of M36, so thoroughly covered in dirt and mud that one wouldn't know it was him at first glance. While he doesn't seem to be in any immediate danger, he does seem like he "woke up" before any of the others in dream states, and he doesn't remember how he got so coated in dirt. He's just been awake long enough to know how completely lost he is.

While these six were in a deep enough sleep to unknowingly travel to different parts of the map, it doesn't take much to wake them up when found. Just calling their names or talking to them will wake them back up out of their trance-like states and make them aware of their surroundings. In the off chance that they're not found before noon, they'll wake up on their own. Waking up is going to be confusing, and that thought that they had something specific to get to is going to take a minute to go away. If they're not found before noon, they're welcome to head back home on their own, assuming they can find the way without GPS. All six of them will be returning home with minor injuries, mostly to their feet, but other scrapes and bruises are to be expected when walking through the woods and climbing whatever needs to be climbed. Hypothermia isn't the issue it was on the day they got there, but it still might be something to worry about for those in wetter locations.

None of our wanderers have their phone on them, or even shoes. They'll just be in whatever they slept in. That doesn't mean that they can't be found easily, though! All of them are still showing up on the GPS and can be tracked, even though, as per usual, no one is labeled by name.

There is someone missing from the house who does not appear on the GPS and who can not be found. Levi is gone. His room has been removed of all it's stuff, unlike the last pair to vanish.

One more thing. This morning, the first person into the kitchen will find that a pair of handcuffs has been left on the counter, along with the keys. It's up to everyone individually to decide if that feels like a precaution or an omen. Felix and Lila will wake up to breakfast in bed, all exactly what they personally would order from an upscale breakfast joint. Apparently TPTB liked the Simms game they played.
