Rat just chewed up my blueprints. I have to start from scratch on my summer plans but that's part of the fun. Dad already put in an order for the sails but Alexandra won't make it across the ocean. Don't ever get a seagull as a pet, they are a bit of a handful.

So is there a ghost out there?

A certain someone (it was Ty) in Animagus Studies has threatened to tell everyone if I didn't since it's been about two weeks and I've still been avoiding broadcasting this but - I can turn into a cat now! A pretty one, apparently. So if you see a random grey cat stalking around, it's probably me. Feel free to come say hi - I enjoy salmon flavored treats and scratches behind the ear (please don't actually provide either of those things).

FINALLY CONFIRMED BY STAFF: There is totally a FREAKY GHOST* out there!!!!!

So here's an IDEA. I just so happen to have this Ouija board (don't ask me why**) and I think we should GO OUT and COMMUNE WITH THE SPIRITS and finally get some answers to this decade-old mystery that's been plaguing our minds for like... OK not a DECADE but more than a year at least which is a heeeeeck of a long time!!!

Also don't tell anyone else about this because the juniors and seniors will want to GET IN ON THIS SPOOKY ACTION and I think we can all agree that the seniors and juniors are some TOTAL KILLJOYS who'll bring ~~bad vibes~~ to a seance. Plus it's just way catchier to call it a
SOPHOMORE SEANCE!!!!!

**OK OK OK SO FRESHMAN YEAR I was working on this movie about how a bunch of teenagers go into the woods with a Ouija board and they ACCIDENTALLY summon a demon which has been looking for a portal into our world which they PROVIDED with the Ouija board and then the demon starts picking them off one by one until the Final Girl figures out how to Ouija it back to hell but PLOT TWIIIIIST it's just a ruse because the demon possessed our hero and it's just PASSING AMONG US NOW :OOOOO

I've told a couple of you this, but after talking through some things with a very supportive and insightful friend (thank you, Rafael), I've decided to go to culinary school after graduation. So [...] I'd like to get more practice. I'm going to be completely Type A about this and put a schedule together for myself, probably focusing on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

If anyone's willing to be a taste tester for me from time to time, let me know? I'd appreciate the help and I'd really value honest opinions about the taste and the aesthetics and all of that, so please don't worry about hurting my feelings or anything. I'm tougher than I look (and sound and act, etc.), I promise.

Do you remember last month when we talked about the Anonymous Post? And you said that you wanted to put in the effort to make the conversations more positive and do more about the bullying? During our prefect meeting yesterday, a lot of people felt the same way. I think, whatever you decide to do on Saturday, you'll have the support of the prefects. I just wanted you to know that.

Hopefully, it'll make a difference.

If you could pick any language to learn, what would it be and why? Would the answer be different if you could learn instantaneously without classes?

So, I'm doing some wider reading right now, and it's about three wizarding leaders in Europe in the 1300s who were all named Pedro, and all named Pedro the Cruel in various forms. Just to add to the confusion, one was also nicknamed Pedro the Great. In an extra twist of cruelty, the writer of the article hasn't given any assistance whatsoever in keeping track of them all so I'm sitting here drawing a diagram to make sense of something that may yet only be mildly helpful in my essay.

It's certainly been a crazy week so far. I wonder what mum would have said if she'd heard about the possibility that the ghost in the woods is really some type of creature? I wonder if we're allowed to share that kind of thing

Speaking of creatures, I'm still on the lookout for that poor snake! I'm sure he'll turn up soon with everyone looking.
