I have to admit, I thought this weekend was going to be way worse than it's turning out to be. Watching everyone with their parents is a little like watching documentaries on Animal Planet. And as a bonus, I have nobody for everyone to drool over, dad or mom or sibling. So I just get to watch and enjoy.

But just FYI: whatever mom tells you about me is a lie. Unless it's how amazing I am, of course. Or how she loves me more than Chris.

Many apologies to anyone who had their breakfast disrupted by the escaped bowtruckle my mom upset by focusing too much attention on me. We're still not sure how he got out of her pocket, but he's back safe and sound and they've talked things through.

It's still such a surprise that my cousin came! Suggestions on what to show everyone today before the conferences? Preferably something that can hold my dad's attention well enough otherwise he tends to wander.
