Wow, I missed all of you. Sometimes you don't realize how much you've missed something until it's been given back. It's kind of sad when school means freedom, but I've noticed a lot of us were eager to return. This place has a strange draw. I think I dislike it until I've been home for a while, and then I walk off that bus and see the mountains and I change my mind almost immediately.

Sooooo are we entering the talent show? There's a fancy broom on the line, and god knows I don't want it. What I want is the prestige. I'm working on a solo entry but Ms. Thrussell says the band can enter as a separate entity.

Break was nice but I'm actually kind of glad to be back! I feel pretty refreshed and ready to taken on the second half of this school year!

the air. it's so fresh. so fresh and clean and unpolluted. even the SNOW is clean. who has CLEAN snow? my brief return to reality has reminded me that real snow is covered in dirt and angry car marks and dog piss. seriously, though - what EVEN IS this narnia-ass bullshit? this is not what actual life looks like, people.

I'm going into the woods this week.

I found this rock here. And when I left and took the rock with me, it was still magic, still felt magic and shit, but t didn't work.

But the closer I got to here the stronger it worked. I thought it might've expired or something, but it seems to be literally tied to here. Christmas break cemented that it doesn't seem hold the same power outside of Gooseberry.

I'm gonna figure out why.

I brought back so many pictures and so many printouts of memes. I CAME EXTRA-PREPARED THIS TIME so I don't have to ARTFULLY RECREATE THEM from meme-ory like last time.
