I tried really hard to ignore Mina and Diego my journal and focus on studying this year but that was a really boring idea and I have to see Diego around camp all the time anyway so I've tossed my transfiguration textbook out the window and rejoined the land of awesome.

Well, Gooseberry never fails to disappoint with a chaotic return to school after a vacation, huh? I mean, I missed the party, came back from Colorado with a stupid head cold, but it seems a fair few others ended up that way as it is! Oops!

And of course, that was just one thing, who knows whether the rest of the year will carry on at this pace, or will things actually tail off at some point? My bet is about five minutes before the buses leave for home in summer.

You know. If I could pick what animal I would turn into with Animagus Studies, I think I'd pick a squid. Just think of the unlimited power in all of those arms. Little suckers all up and down. You'd be able to hold all the things, squiggle under a tiny door because you'd be a escape artist and hide with your fantastic camouflage. It's the ultimate pick for someone that wants to steal things.

Plus your Halloween costume would already be done. Cthulhu. Always Cthulhu.
