Fourteen Shades - AU HP RPG

WHO: Albus & Ginny Potter
WHAT: Celebrating Mummy's birthday!
WHERE: The Pitch, the theatre/Beau Mangerie/here and there, okay?
WHEN: Monday morning through afternoon.

Albus had a big day planned for his mother. He wasn't one of those types who thought someone had to wait for a special occasion to show family and friends love, but he did think birthdays offered an excellent excuse. He still thought home-made gifts put most store-bought things to shame, but now that he was working full-time, he liked adding things such as dinner and a film to his presents for people. He didn't think celebrations had to be big and noisy; they just had to come from the heart.

He planned a special flight for just the two of them, a film, and lunch. After the flight, he allowed them just enough time to get appropriately ready for a lunch at Beau Mangerie. He wore long khaki shorts, an olive shirt, and even threw on a tie. He was on his parents' doorstep right on time.

ALBUS: He wants to do something with his mother in honor of the day. If not today, definitely another day. He is thinking a special mother/son flight and lunch/film (his treat). He also gives her a similar gift that he gave to Harry, but with different photographs of him, Jamie, and Lilu growing up. It is a photo album instead of a collage and done like a scrapbook so there are tons of little hand-done decorations that Ginny would like (hopefully).

ERNIE: Ernie would try to catch her in person if he could. He gives her a whistle with her name engraved on it and a gift certificate to the shops in the village.

MIKE: Mike sends a card along with some Quidditch related gear. She eats free for a week at Mike's Corner.

REMUS: Remus would have tried to give his in person too. Ginny gets books, sweets, and a paid weekend for two at the Posy Inn.

SALLY: Sally sends cupcakes and several scented candles.

MAC: Mac sends several outfits because she likes dressing people, but keeps in mind Ginny is not a general fan of heels!

DRACO: Draco sends these flowers and a bottle of wine.

ARTHUR: Arthur found an ipod! And sends it. Because. And plugs. He would have stopped by for hugs too.

WHO: Albus Severus Potter & AJ Longbottom
WHAT: Al knows when a cuddle is needed.
WHERE: A tent...let's say hers.
WHEN: Friday night

Most eighteen year old blokes would have had one thing in mind when crawling into a pretty girl's tent after sundown, but not Albus Potter. Al barely kissed a girl in his time. He wasn't suave or self-assured. He was just Al...sweet, creative, and empathetic Al. He was safe. The thought of snogging never occurred to him not because he didn't want to snog pretty girls in tents, but because he never thought any would want to snog him back. For that reason, he gave no mind to how it looked when he dragged his sleeping bag into Allie's tent and wrapped his arm around her from behind. He knew she was struggling with the village and he knew how it felt so he wanted his long-time friend to remember she wasn't alone in the crazy place. "You are my favorite Longbottom," he said in a teasing whisper. "Don't tell Frankie or Chris. They get too jealous."

REMUS: Remus stopped by the ice cream shop to give Albus his gift. He gave him several books, a sweets basket filled with Albus' favorite kinds, and a nice parchment/quill set.

SALLY: Sally is fond of Arianna and Kendra so she made sure to send Albus candles from her shop and cupcakes.

ALBUS: Al stopped by the shop to give his namesake a sketch of Hogwarts in a nice frame. The card reads:

Dear Mr. Albus,

Happy birthday. I am very proud to have your name.

Love,
Albus

DRACO would have stopped by to see his aunt. He gave her this pretty pearl bracelet with "Aunt Andromeda" etched on adjoining beads. He also gave her a spa weekend for two at the Inn. Auntie gets a hug and kiss!

ERNIE stopped by. He gave Andromeda a gift certificate for two to the Beau Managerie and several books.

ALBUS also visited! Andromeda got a hug and a sketch of something she'd like in a pretty hand-made frame.

REMUS also stopped by. Noticing a pattern? He gave his mother-in-law a wine/cheese/chocolate basket and a gift certificate to the beauty salon.

SALLY sent candles, cupcakes, and these earrings.

ALBUS gives his present at the dinner Ginny mentioned (if that is still a thing with Barty showing). He gives his dad a hug and a huge collage of photographs of him, James, and Lilu growing up (courtesy the Genealogist Office). The collage is decorated with hand-made drawings of Harry's favorite things. It is pretty.

REMUS sends a card, a sweets basket, some Quidditch related merchandise, and a video game system with a note that some of the kids introuduced him to it and he thought it might appeal to Harry's inner Gryffindor. Also, an invitation to dinner at Harry's convenience.

ERNIE sends a card and a nice, practical leather wallet.

MIKE sends a card and an invitation to eat free for a week at Mike's Corner.

MAC sends a card and some outfits because she likes dressing people.

ARTHUR sends a small robot toy he found in Smuggled. He thinks it is the greatest gift. He invites him to do something with him and Molly at some point.

DRACO sends a card and a bottle of sparkling cider (I am pretty sure there was a public conversation about Harry not drinking much on a post where Draco commented to Ron about being sorry he sent Ron alcohol for HIS birthday after reading neither were too into it at the moment...if I made that up, it is alcohol because Draco sends a bottle of wine to people he wants to acknowledge, but doesn't feel too familiar with).

SALLY (because of her connection to Lily/James) sends several candles, cupcakes, and a card.

ALBUS sends a hand-drawn picture of some of Neville's favorite plants enclosed in a nice (and hand-made) frame etched with gold lions.

ERNIE: sends a card along with a set of herbs/tools needed for planting.

MIKE: sends a card and mentions Neville eats free for a week.

REMUS: sends several books, a sweets basket, and invitation to lunch at Neville's convenience.

ARTHUR: This made him sort of sad because he misses baby Bill, but he got Hope this from Smuggled (and has no clue what it is from).

ERNIE: this toy clock.

ALBUS gives his present in person. He would have asked her to go somewhere to eat (his treat) and given her several things that he knows she likes (including pop music and books) along with a sketch of Percy, Audrey, and Lucy. Blue pie was definitely a thing.

ARTHUR would have wanted to see her too and would have requested help picking out her gifts, but she definitely wound up with some useless Smuggled items (that he thinks are awesome) too.

REMUS sent a sweets basket and several logic puzzles.

DRACO sent flowers and several cookbooks since she enjoys cooking.

ERNIE sent a sweets basket and a gift certificate to the book shop.

WHO: Draco Malfoy, Astoria Greengrass, & Albus Potter
WHAT: Albus is a sweet, but embarrassing third wheel.

ALBUS planned a day at the waterpark in honor of Roxy's birthday. He invited any close friends and family members to attend the event. He arranged for everyone to go to Mike's Corner free of charge due to Mike's soft spot for Roxy. Someone please buy or bake a cake. His actual birthday gift includes a hand painted sign for Roxy's new shop as well as a photograph placed into a hand-decorated frame of her parents and Fred II. He got the photograph thanks to the Genealogist Office.
