Dearest, darlingest sister and brotherbits;

There's been some confusion re: attendance at the ball. I mean, I thought we'd arrive together, but of course I'll rise above that. Because I know you both do as you see fit.

Really, though. Mostly, I'm upset at you, sunshine. Darling Nyx, you are ever so distant and aloof and cruel, after all, but you, Aelius, you know I get distracted. What if I'd gotten so lost in that boy's charms that I missed Midsummer altogether?

YOU KNOW IT COULD HAPPEN. You should have reminded me, that's all I am saying.

But what is past is past, and I can't stay mad at either of you. So, what have I missed? Are there still mortals around? Have you kissed anyone? Either of you?
