With so many diverse and skilled people around - I saw some of you at the tourney, though others lingered by the sidelines - there must be an abundance of fresh stories we have not, for the most part, heard. I invite you all to regale me. And fear not, you can live up to the wonders of Orlesian bards if you commit yourself to it. I have faith.

My darling, I am an absolute criminal for not having sought you out sooner. No matter how much drama and protection our dear ambassador needs, you are like a daughter to me, and I will make time for you, if you will set aside some of your precious time for me.

It occurs to me that our esteemed visiting delegates, though no doubt welcomed heartily to our city, may not have had the benefit of a personal guide! So if anyone would like a brief guided tour of the Tower and its environs from one of its old warhorses, I, Olivier Castillo, offer myself up.

It'll be dreadfully shallow and tourism-focused, mind. We Nevarrans are so fond of showing off. (Or perhaps that's just me...?)

I've discovered today that it's entirely possible to create a flask of ice that burns as effectively as a flask of fire.

Nug leather is not quite as durable as ram. If you tan it right, though, nug leather makes for not only good fashion, but excellent jerky.
