[Your... whatever it is right now, though it is probably buzzing with the excitement of seeing faces at home, and those considered lost stumbling back... is interrupted rather dramatically.

It sounds a bit like an earthquake, that thunderous rumble... but as it gets closer, you might notice that there's a rhythm too it. Louder and louder, faster and faster...

Almost out of no where, she appears, with ... Ash and a few pokemon on her back... and followed by three darting, speeding, flying hatchlings... They ignore all of the people on the ground, scrambling out of the way... they're not her goal... her goal is JUST enough space to get airborne... and at three times the length of the arena ... no other place would do...

Just at the far end of the cavern, Venna's wings snap open, their span almost too enormous to see in one look... and flaps. The gales are pressing, crushing, even the magical flames of the torches struggle desperately to stay lit, dust, dirt, rocks and boulders go flying as she takes off, angling up for the ceiling...

She breathes, her fire lighting the cavern with painful luminance... but those who recover quickly enough may catch, for an instant, a grey sky beyond, around the red edges of a portal.

She takes off, and flies away with her children, the magic closing the way behind her.]

[In the cave, there are now three dragons... most of them playing around a strange dream-tent set up, sniffing at it. They now tumble over each other, occasionally, listening to Pikachu's directions for lava safety. The eldest, a green dragon with a thin face like mother's, follows after Ash, mimicking his every movement.

Venna on the other hand, has turned her head towards the cavern ceiling, thoughtful...

Something about her is different... her once-shredded wings are folded, intact and healed on her back. Her eyes are clear and watchful, minding all four of her adventurous and occasionally brainless children.]

[Scowl's back to visit the dragon again, two or three freshly killed river lizards in tow. Just in case. He glides up on his A-T, making sure to stop a respectful distance from her and her nest (and the hatchling, should it be wandering free through the area)]

[It's a calm evening, the great, blind dragon lays curled around her clutch of eggs mingled in with an Ophiuchus and various pokemon. The bones of the meal - some of it roasted for that strange child that can't eat raw raptor as well - strewn around them.

In fact, it would be the most pleasant environment for Ash and Pikachu to join in on the nap with the mamadragon when...

[It's been quiet, as it had been since the start. In fact, Blanks could almost manage to ignore that there IS another presence beyond the ruins between the times she makes herself known.

It's not like the last time, the light as it rips through the perpetual darkness of Sabra does not abate immediately... nor is it a quiet thing, those hunting may feel the ground shake and many might hear the shriek, wordless, almost incoherent before both dies away hoarsely.

[To those who first return to the cavern in the northeast, it may appear that the great green dragon sleeps.

The cavern is dark, its fires burnt out and the dragon rests in its ashes.]

[It is sometime as the torches begin truly dimming and even the well lit areas by the cove become a struggle to see. The evening is peaceful as it can be, most of the creatures grazing or hunting anything smaller than itself...

When almost at once, as if obeying some unseen or unheard signal, creatures great and small take on a stance of panic and flee towards the south.

It is merely moments after that when the entire area lights up with a luminance greater than daylight, radiating from the northeast. It darkens slowly, fading to a mere glow in the distance, casting along the great cavern.]
