I've done reconnaissance, can communicate with animals, ruled a kingdom, volunteered at a hospital and taught 5th grade for 28 years.

Since a lot of us are new here to the great and wonderful state that is Kansas, I thought I would take it upon myself to share some of their more delightful laws with you. You know, so you crazy kids don't get into any trouble with those pesky lawmen and all.

(1) If two trains meet on the same track, neither shall proceed until the other has passed.

(2) No one may sing the alphabet on the streets at night.

(3) It is illegal to hunt whales.

(4) It is illegal to put ice cream on cherry pie.

(5) It is illegal to throw knives at men wearing striped suits.

Annnnd a few laws specific to Lawrence are:

(1) No one may wear a bee in their hat. (There goes my wardrobe idea for tomorrow.)

(2) All cars entering the city limits must first sound their horn to warn the horses of their arrival. (It's the polite thing to do, you see.)

Anybody want a pumpkin or two? Maybe to carve into jack-o-lanterns or to use in recipes... I could accelerate their growth and they'd be ready soon. I figured it might be a nice thing to do if they're in demand.

Soooooo now that people aren't actively getting shit on by Casper's bitchy cousins, somebody wanna tell me what there is to do in this tiny little wannabe-city? I'm so bored I'm actually missing the freaky shark-men. Shark-men, people. This is not okay.

So I really didn't think this coming through the Looking Glass thing through because if I'd thought to think it through I'd have remembered that there's no tea here and I can't get any tea here and I can really use some tea because who knew going without tea like this would be bad but it is bad even though I stopped the harder stuff years ago and really I always meant to quit all of it but I owned a tea shop and it was there and things were tough and so I had some tea sometimes and now I need it.

So. Paintball needs to happen. Tonight. Because darktimes paintball is awesome.

Hey, guys! It's been a while since I told everyone and there have been new arrivals, so I thought I'd make another announcement. I have a garden on the roof of the apartment complex. Among other plants, I'm growing verbena also known as vervain. If you ever need any, feel free to go up there and collect as much as you need.

I also wanted to know if there's anyone around here who might be interested in helping me construct a small greenhouse for the colder months so the plants don't die off in the winter. Any takers?
