It has been suggested that a few of us infiltrate the Carnival to discover where those taken are being held.

If you have the experience and training to aid in this, please reply here. I'd like the surveillance team to be hooked to us via comm devices, earpieces preferably. ETA: Please only volunteer if you truly feel that you don't have any fears or doubts that may make you susceptible to Dark's influence.

Ruby [ooc: hood], I believe I saw you state that you could track them with items that belong those people? Please let me know if this is so and some others can begin gathering belongings for you.

I've been brainstorming ideas (and taking in what everyone else has suggested) and generated some questions to possibly help with the wonderful Dark crap we're all getting ready to deal with again. Thoughts?

1. who wants to do the whole cheerful business at him?
2. maybe some group activities that actively create happiness (karaoke night again? a party--Lexi and Rose?) as well as possible coupley things that do
3. locating Dark before he can set up the carnival
a. surveillance of the nearest states for the carnival?<--if he’s going to be here on Thursday he can’t be that far, right?
b. super hearing or sight or flyovers or whatever? teleporters? what else do we have? I don’t even know anymore
c. other?
4. how are those patronus and protection charms going?

So let’s say the carnival DOES get set up:
1. Can everyone make a list of people who could possibly help get them out and leave it on their fridge? that way if anyone gets abducted we’ve got a bit of an idea who to pull in to get you out!
2. Who thinks they can make in and out without getting into too much trouble?

So building off of what Peter was suggesting, why don't those of us who have confidence take the fight to this Dark before he can strike at us and the people of this city? I'm not suggesting we go waltzing to the carnival spreading love and joy, but just spreading it across the city.

I have to say, chap picked perhaps the worst time to bring the carnival back here with Valentine's Day and romance being high in the air. So why don't we use the holiday to our advantage and hurt him first? Element of surprise and all of that. Perhaps if we strike first, he will be weakened and thus be less able to hurt others while we work on getting rid of him for good. It could be a bit of a David versus Goliath scenario, but one small stone turned the tide of that of that fight, so put faith within yourself and anything can happen.

I’m not the only one who saw those freaking posters springing up in various parts of town, am I? Dark’s coming back and I figured it might be a good idea to share what I know about this stupid carnival. I went to the office that was handling the donations for children in need and all of the donations from the past few months had been stolified last night.

Why? I know people can be all self shallow but why steal from children who need the help?

I went to a lot of places I used to go to when I was here before and it's so strange and confusifying and familiarating how different things are yet have remained the same. The stores started their Mass for Christ Christmas music playing now. It's all festivating but people still seem disgruntled.

I also went to the community center and signed up for volunteer work again to fill up the days since I don't think I want to go back to MAC. No one there remembered me.

Is there anything being done to help on the... I think its East coast? Is that geography right for here? The papers talked about storms and a need for help for the hurt areas.

Really important question.

When going to camp what all should one bring with them? Besides a sunny disposition? Are there rooms to stay in or do I need to get a hotel room? Or are there tents? I hate damn tents. Those things have horrible circulation and its impossible to find decent sleeping bags with good back support.

Also I'm guessing decent internet access considering how many of you post while up there.




And Clark, how many bags can you carry at once?

All right now that I've got the hang of using this, I should introduce myself! Percy Blakeney at your service. I'm the lovely, charming and ever talented Marguerite Blakeney's husband. She told me the basics of this place. Apocalypse, fighting and so forth. Bit strange to adjust to, but not so different from where I came from. So on that note, I wish to help out wherever I can!

Right then, new faces mean time for more camp. I'm certain now there is enough of you to create a group six for Bobby's Demon Camp. Typically he will only train you if you are 18 or older. Bobby will teach you everything you need to know from basic Latin to traps, shooting, and survival skills. He has an open date coming up this week on the 25th and it will go until the first of October. I can drive people to South Dakota or you can arrange your own transportation. Up to you really.
