I've been brainstorming ideas (and taking in what everyone else has suggested) and generated some questions to possibly help with the wonderful Dark crap we're all getting ready to deal with again. Thoughts?

1. who wants to do the whole cheerful business at him?
2. maybe some group activities that actively create happiness (karaoke night again? a party--Lexi and Rose?) as well as possible coupley things that do
3. locating Dark before he can set up the carnival
a. surveillance of the nearest states for the carnival?<--if he’s going to be here on Thursday he can’t be that far, right?
b. super hearing or sight or flyovers or whatever? teleporters? what else do we have? I don’t even know anymore
c. other?
4. how are those patronus and protection charms going?

So let’s say the carnival DOES get set up:
1. Can everyone make a list of people who could possibly help get them out and leave it on their fridge? that way if anyone gets abducted we’ve got a bit of an idea who to pull in to get you out!
2. Who thinks they can make in and out without getting into too much trouble?

Now I do not know whether to fear the idea of you and Percy ever pairing up together on something or not.

My one concern about doing the cheerful thing at him through the computer is that it is easy to lie through a computer. You can type the words but if you have no meaning behind it. But group activities to generate the feelings in general definitely should be feasible.

If the carnival comes into town, I feel that I would be able to get in and out without trouble. And if I somehow get taken and detained, Percy would be the best person to send for me.

	Be very afraid. I kind of figure at this point if there are people who want to do it via the computer then they basically should. It can't hurt any. I don't think I'd get much of a say on him staying behind if you're taken, Marguerite. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

	I can see what I can do through the computer networks and CCTV, collaborate with the other tech types if they are agreeable to the idea. As for potential saving reasons... Nina, Chinboy or Helena are the three I am closest to, though really Martha and Jack are brilliant as well. (Reply to this) (Thread)

	I'd offer tracking from the ground, but I'd need something from the carnival that would have a residual scent and even that may not be helpful. But the offer is there if it becomes needed. If needed, I should be able to get in and out easily enough but I also have a feeling that would cause more concern than anything so last resort? (Reply to this) (Thread)

Count me as being one of the people to stay far, far away from Dark and his carnival. I may be more stable than I was last time he was here, but I'm not risking anything.

Though really, making me list people to come and save me? I am fairly certain I can name half of us for that job. But in the event such a thing does happen, Myka, though I'd prefer she also stay far away from this, Claudia, Steve, Piotr, Natasha, Clint, Robin Hood. I really could go on.

Put me on for the throwing cheerfulness at Dark. But I think you may have all ready surmised that.

I'm not really of the surveillance type, I'm more of the infiltration type. Though this by no means means that I would willingly waltz into the carnival undercover. Unless it was the only option, which it's not. But I would certainly be someone that can be counted on to get in and out without much trouble.

I'm gonna try to get this guy talking. I don't know that I'll get anything useful from him, but worth a shot, right? And I don't really think there's much concern for me getting wrapped up in this mess, I've had people mesing around in my head and I'm not having that happen again. But just in case....bloody hell, I don't know, good lot of my friends might be more likely to get caught in it if they tried to go after me. Let's just go with: Hope like hell it doesn't come to that cause I'm bloody ell not risking anyone else if it does.
