10:55 pm [icon_uk] [Link]	An SD1.0 repost and a genuine "Grail Piece" acqusition!! :) Chances are that if you owned ANY DC licensed merchandise in the late 70's or early 80's it either featured art by, or based on, work done by Jose-Luis Garcia-Lopez and Dick Giordano, two stalwarts of the organisation, who produced acres of top notch, lovely licensing art. The art would be used from notepads to action figures, from t-shirts to underoos, and so had to be both simple and stylish, easily reproduced and instantly recognisable. They could hardly have asked for better! The attached pics are scanned as best I can, and hopefully might bring a little happiness to your desktop should you wish to tweak them that way. 04:35 pm [lipsofpoison] [Link]	Jason in 'Tec Comics I've saved a lot of random bits of Jason adventures in 'Tec Comics over the last couple of years and upon reviewing them, there are some interesting points and foreshadowing, so after #571 was put up, I thought I'd put these up as well. Some of them are on the crisis cusp (just before, just after) so be aware of that. 09:33 pm [thanekos] [Link]	The Men Who Would Be Gotham's Rogues (also, a little Darth Revan) so, Kia Asamiya. Guy drew/wrote a lot of stuff I mean to get around to. one of those works, in particular? Batman: Child of Dreams, published in Kodonsha's Monthly Magazine Z in about ten installments, I think; at any rate, since DC (obviously) commissioned it, we got a hardcover edition two years later, translated by Max Allan Collins. 05:14 pm [thebigapricot] [Link]	When Kyle brought the Joker to Arkham I finally got a chance to play some "Arkham Asylum" this weekend. Very cool. I liked Oracle being in it but I wish they had gotten Dina Meyer to do her voice. Since I am in an Arkham mood, here are two pages from a 6 page story in "Secret Files & Origins, Gotham's Greatest Gangsters" about that time Kyle had to bring the Joker to Arkham Asylum.
