Green Lantern/Batman Dynamics
So...we know that Batman and Hal don't always see eye to eye, Bats being slow to forgive that entire 'Hal going batshit insane' thing (for some reason). However Batman's relationship with Kyle seemed much less rocky and even friendly and encouraging at times (For example that scene in Emerald Knights when Batman reassures Kyle that he is indeed valued and his fears that he will lose his place on the JLA to a time displaced Hal Jordan are unfounded.)
But it wasn't always that way.

Star Trek: Better living through changing the rules.
Star Trek XI opened and IMHO kicked ass, and has a test mentioned in WRATH OF KHAN. But we've seen Kirk taking the Kobayashi Maru test before... sort of. In DC Comics' STAR TREK (Vol. 2) #73, we see Cadet Kirk. (Some minor spoilers for Star Trek XI after the cut.)

Batfamily Goodness.
This post is on the family relationship between Dick, Tim and Bruce through Gotham Knights 8-11. The short story is that Hugo Strange targets him and believes he knows that Bruce Wayne is Batman and targets the Batfamily as the psycho psychologist.

Nightcrawler's Brand New Day
We all know how Spider-Man got to where he is now. To save the life of Aunt May (against her wishes), Peter made a deal with Mephisto, the embodiment of evil in the Marvel universe. In exchange for May's life, he sacrificed his marriage with Mary-Jane Watson.
Of course, this isn't the first time Mephisto has made an offer with someone. In this occasion, he makes an offer to Nightcrawler. How does the Furry Blue Elf take it?
