Return of the Joker
Also known as how the Joker and Harley die in the DCAU (unlike in the movie, Harley does not get a "happy" ending in the comic)
Here's some more Harley/Joker scenes, this time they've done something incredibly malicious to Tim Drake. This is eight pages from a more than 40 page comic.
Seriously, the Joker and Harley Quinn should never, ever, ever, ever, ever have children.
This has got to be one of the most vile, heinous things the Joker (and Harley as well) have ever done. This is the mental rape of a small boy. I don't know what could compare to this in the real world other than the beating death of Jason Todd. Also this was done in a kid's movie.
Harley is so far gone in this. I don't know if she still retains any innocence, tho she does say "I'll make it right, you'll see" -- but then again, it could be her saying that as a way to let Babs know she'll make it right by offing her. It really is a sick and creepy moment when she says "So we roughed the kid up a little." A little? A LITTLE?
This was hard for me to watch. Just so sick. "I'll being with how I peeled back the layers of the boy's mind..." Just so vile.
The Joker goes out in a different fashion in the movie, but ends on the same line: "That's not funny." I think that's how it should be, frankly. Realising that death (especially his) is not some big cosmic joke.
They bury the Joker's body beneath Arkham. They don't find Harley' s body in the comic version either, but it's clear that she dies and doesn't go on to have kids and grandkids.
