[Familiar butterflies, and a soft scent of flowers draw everyone to the Arena. Where Beauty is on the statue. Today the 'Arena' is truly living up to it's name. While the characteristic lush grass carpets the ground, several roman style bleachers rise up in a semi-circle around an open area. Among the seats are bowls of popcorn.

Away from the makeshift arena, there are a few video terminals.]

Good morning, every one.

This game make some preparation for you to understand, so I'll be announcing things early to allow you the chance to ask questions.

You will be playing a comedy game. Teams will play games in groups of two, taking their place in front of the audience. There are various types of games, but none of them are violent, I assure you. The goal is to be funny, and have fun. Your scene will be completed after an alloted amount of time, or when I say so.

There are other Judges here today. They'll be watching your performances and voting for which teams have done the best. The six winning teams from the first round will go against each other in the second round, and the winning teams from that round will receive their memories.

Provided is a list of the games you play, along with brief descriptions.

Keep in mind that while teams are playing against each other, you must play with each other to make the scene work. If the goal of a scene is to make one player guess what you are talking about, making it too obvious will not be very interesting.

Videos have been provided for a few of these games, to give you an idea of how they are played. But do not worry about performing exactly the same as the actors. It is your own unique knowledge, viewpoints, and personality which will make this game fun for everyone.

For now, familiarize yourself with the various games. What game you will be play, and what teams you will play against, will be announced shortly.

Also, please sign in. I will try to fit games to people of people willing to play per each team.

((Yes kids, we are playing Whose Line Is It Anyway. Mingle will still go for an hour, but providing everything NOW to give you a chance to watch the videos if you aren't familiar with the games. THAT SAID, characters are not expected or required to play the games perfectly. Beauty will buzz them if they start to go too far out of bounds. Not sure exactly how long each round will go, but I'm thinking an hour and a half max. The first six rounds WILL play at the same time OOCly, even though ICly you may assume they go one after another, so Blanks can watch other's performances.

Also note I can't GUARANTEE that every character signed up will get to play, but I will do my absolute best to make sure everyone gets to play with at least one character. Feel free to sign up both!

FINALLY, Judges are encouraged to hang around in the mingle, watch the performances, and vote for one team or the other as the winner once it's done.))

[There is that vaguely familiar pull to come towards the arena today, a low barely audible melody that calls you to it, and when you arrive the lights are dimmed and there is a mansion that most of you probably have seen before. Today there are no doors at the front though, and instead there is just one small door, standing slightly ajar, on the side of the building. If you take a peek through it, all you can see are a pair of completely white stairs descending down into a seemingly empty room in the same colour. The headless statue is present as before.]

[Today in the arena, a very particular Call was given out, heard by any outside, and those inside who might have been listening.. It is a strange octave, almost regal, with the deep sound of brass horns and cadence of drums. As one gets closer, they might hear something a bit like winds, but of a strange harmony that doesn't match any instrument a Blank may have remembered. Strings on a slightly different chord and pitch, the range dancing at a joyous counterpoint to the solemn, majestic trumpets.

Those who have heard, one in particular, and all those following the unique sound, will find the Arena unusually appointed. Banners of all teams colors stretch overhead, red taking the pinnacle spot.

Without the trappings of a game, what seems to be laid out is a long table, a multitude of chairs and covered plates sitting upon table cloth of Pyxis red and Cygnus pink. The music seems to come from all around, and the general area before the tables seems to be open, inviting for those inclined to dance. There is a less austere table, far to the back, which seems to have simple snacks, one single platter of fruit, and some juices and wines.

In the throne, presiding over it all is the statue of the King, expression thoughtful as it overlooks the festivities.]

[The boxes read simply, 'From Persona'. Inside each box, you find what appear to be cheap Polaroid cameras, should you recognize the technology. One per (non-hiatused) teammate. They're very simplistic; a button, a slot, and a number indicating how many photos are left (they each start at 12). Underneath the cameras, there is also a binder in your team's color, with the word 'Memories' embossed on the cover. It's full of plastic sheets to slide the pictures into.]

[The lights don’t seem quite as bright as they usually are in the arena today. The dimmed lights make it impossible to see far into the arena, but even so the grand Victorian mansion taking up the centre of it would be difficult to miss. It looks like it could have seen better days, the paint flaking off and a few of the glass panes of the windows broken. The curtains are all drawn on the first of the three floors, making it neigh impossible to take a peek inside. The front of the mansion is adorned with six doors in a row though, each door’s frame painted in two colours, one door for every pair of partner teams.]

[Behind the mansion, on top of the throne, sits a new statue in complete silence. And despite the lack of head, you might feel as if you’re being closely watched by it.]

[Of course, once you make your way into the arena you might care about neither of the things mentioned above, because sitting in a circle are eleven familiar shapes, the twelfth shape being a pair of Groucho Marx glasses. If you look closely enough you can see how they are still breathing, if very faintly. And floating above each and everyone of them, well out of reach from you, is a tiny rag doll replica of the unconscious blank (or little dollsized glasses in case of Dingbatticus).]
