[A light continental breakfast covers the kitchen table this morning; delicate pastries, fluffy cooked eggs, thick lizard-meat sausages, and a selection of jams and sweet beebat honey to coat the slices of warm, buttered toast. The crowning feature is, as always, the collection of berries at the centre, each somehow known to belong to one individual and one alone.

River's place at the table is marked with a tall, chilled glass of something milky white, and a small, black velvet ring box. A second box, this one of far more ordinary construction and dyed a light, bright purple, rests under his chair.

On the job board, a posting for MONOCEROS has been added beside the still-unclaimed post for LEPUS. The toy box beside it sits empty, and the inside appears oddly worn: old and fragile, like it's ready to collapse at the lightest touch.]

[Tonight as you return, or in the cases of some of you, might even just be waking up at this hilariously late time of day, there is a wonderful smell of stir fry on the air. [After much trial and tribulation and some failed attempts, which noodle is doing his best to ignore, Watanuki is outside the Canis/Lacerta dorms carefully pulling candy made from bearbee blood. There's already a neat little spread of candy (placed carefully on lizard-fat greased paper) that's cooling in the evening chill.]
