He seems to be sewing a few finished pieces together at the moment, with needle and sinew. Productivity. A fat, flying, gold ball seems to be helping him out.]

There's one thing in color, though, if you're at the lake - one white-haired Lacerta boy's bright red left eye.]

[a clear harp tone resounds throughout the blocks. in the arena, sits a judge, and all your missing people. she holds a net in her hands, teeming with...something. it's very hard to look at what it is, exactly. your eyes will not focus on what it is. if you were infected, you now feel normal, however.]

[The hunter creeps along the shores of the lake. A pederpes on a rock catches his eyes; though not large, the pederpes is a frequent staple in the diet of the common tabula rasa. Spotting his possible breakfast, the stalking hunter draws himself up, tense. Observe the way the tail lashes, a quick jerk of the tip back and forth, while the larger portion stays still. Slowly, he pulls himself down, muscles gathering for a leap, and the tail stills entirely. Then the hindquarters wiggle and he launches himself at the unsuspecting victim. . . . or perhaps not so unsuspecting, as the pederpes flees and the hunter finds himself facefirst in the dirt.]

'Ey, hold still! All I want ta do is eat you, dat's not so bad. Come back here, little lizard!

[when everyone returns from their day's gathering, hanging-out, fighting with sticks, and other activities, they will find that Wolf and Cain's rooms are utterly empty, spotless as though no one had ever lived in them. the beds are freshly made, the common-issue blank clothes are in a neat pile, the mural is gone from Wolf's ceiling. the only sign that they were there at all is the pot of stew meat still simmering in the kitchen, and the doodles Cain made in Canis' book]

[There is a new statue in the arena today, towering over the ruins that surround the throne and visible as soon as you begin the descent. It is of finely chiseled white stone, two lovely young women with identical features, and to celebrate the occasion cheerful banners in every team color have been tastefully arranged overhead, hanging from no visible surface at all. Before the throne, a single long table has been set lengthwise; in its center is a tall vase of flowers, and it is draped with grey cloth that shimmers, just a little, every time the light touches it.]

[The voice that rings out in greeting is vibrant- amused.]

A pleasant morning to you, children. So kind of you to come when called. This morning I'll be playing a little game with you, and my sister's agreed to lend herself to making certain everything runs smoothly.

I understand that lately many of the games have caused great stress, while this is, perhaps, to be expected, I think it is fair to allow for breaks as well.
