Simple darkness fills your vision, no delineation between up and down, walls or even the floor. You can only see the throne in the far off distance, and five pathways each covered with a lush carpet: Pink, White, Brown, and two distinct shades of Blue. They bear the sigil of the graceful Swan, the majestic Unicorn, a the nimble Hare, the canny Dog and deft Dolphin embossed into the weave. Should you turn around, there is no exit yet, but there is a small table, filled with punch, and several large party platters filled with salted hard breads and a few jam filled pastries dusted with confectioners sugar.]

[However, should you follow any of the pathways, the landscape begins to change...]

The second box is full of GLAZES. And a few croissants.

There are only three jelly ones in the last box. Try not to kill each other.

There are NO new jobs on the board, just the two waiting for completion, but by Yamamoto's plate, there is a box with a Hydra green ribbon around it containing on SOULPUPPY and ... a secret decoder ring with a Pavo colored string tied on it and a tag saying (In Advance). [Today in the arena, a very particular Call was given out, heard by any outside, and those inside who might have been listening.. It is a strange octave, almost regal, with the deep sound of brass horns and cadence of drums. As one gets closer, they might hear something a bit like winds, but of a strange harmony that doesn't match any instrument a Blank may have remembered. Strings on a slightly different chord and pitch, the range dancing at a joyous counterpoint to the solemn, majestic trumpets.

Those who have heard, one in particular, and all those following the unique sound, will find the Arena unusually appointed. Banners of all teams colors stretch overhead, red taking the pinnacle spot.

Without the trappings of a game, what seems to be laid out is a long table, a multitude of chairs and covered plates sitting upon table cloth of Pyxis red and Cygnus pink. The music seems to come from all around, and the general area before the tables seems to be open, inviting for those inclined to dance. There is a less austere table, far to the back, which seems to have simple snacks, one single platter of fruit, and some juices and wines.

In the throne, presiding over it all is the statue of the King, expression thoughtful as it overlooks the festivities.]

[Today the memory berries are stacked in a small tower, one on top of each other in a somewhat physics defying way. Do you pull yours out? Or merely admire the masterpiece of patience and boredom?

Also, you may notice that there is a small easel next to the table, on the pegboard are two notes under a sign that says assignments:] Canis. Delphinus.

"The teams above are to be challenged in some way, be it mentally, physically, or merely for the sake of the amusement of all. Should they complete their challenge, you may find the reward they are to receive provided."

[To one side of the board, are sacks tied with light and dark blue ribbons, obviously the rewards, and to the other, is a box with Ophiuchus' symbol on it. Someone has scrawled "Toy Box" on the lid.]


((OOC notes: Any Ophi can take the note down from the board, making it their mission! If you try to open the reward bags, you will find yourself unable to! Only the team, after winning a challenge, can untie that badboy. The toybox has anything that you could possibly need to do the mission, strange gadgets, wifflebats, strange chemicals, building blocks, basically anything that you might want to run a small personalized game. If you want it? It's probably there. We're going to give direct assignments a try and work our way down the Solo Mission request list! So please, teams who want things, sign up! [OOC: The spell is what Marla calls a look-away -- I've also heard gamers call similar abilities 'someone else's problem' spells. Basically, it allows her to walk around, and, while people see her, they don't really register her as anything much. It lets her do things like walk through a prison riot or sneak behind the scenes on a tour -- people avoid walking through her space, like they might with true invisibility, but she can't do something like stab someone in the stomach without them noticing that there's a woman with a knife. You'll notice if she tries to directly interact with you, but otherwise, she's unremarkable.

Marla is going to be pushing the limits of what she can do with the spell, so feel free to respond for interactions. People sensitive to magic/invisible things might be able to penetrate the spell and see Marla. Also, her title is Urban Sorceress.]
